MAC is going to have to work harder if they want to continue to see my money. All of this "we're canceling orders" and waiting room nonsense is making me so much more selective.

At one point there was a theory that her poor reviews of products caused Mac to stop sending her samples, but they sent her samples for the very next collection. Figuring out Mac is like trying to figure out your ex. Just don't even bother.

Oh I will NEVER try to figure out MAC's hot mess! LOL I personally have T's (and Beautezine's) sites right on my phone screen! I love them both. I like that T isn't afraid to give a poor review when that's her opinion! That makes me trust her. Even if I don't always agree. It's her blog and she should present reviews the way she sees fit. Historically, she really puts down the MAC Mineralized products. They don't work for her, and I'm sure there are lots that agree and lots that don't. From a marketing standpoint, if MAC was prone to hold back samples from a blogger for this SPECIFIC collection, I'm sure she's at the top of that list.

Ok, so I was only gonna get Private Party......tell me why I got one of each lipstick?!?! I felt pressured to make a quick decision (still traumatized by the Riri Fall collection where stuff would just disappear lol). Oh well, I'm excited to swatch them but my wallet is not too happy with me

The Captivating MES in this collection reminds me of This & That MES duo. I hope I'm not far off because I'm skipping the e/s this time.

I think I would have to agree with previous theories that MAC isn't sending out a lot of samples because they want us to feel pressured to buy now. Which sucks. I don't want to give in because of my circumstances but I don't want to completely miss out either.

I agree with this theory 100%. And they've seen with RiRi that they don't NEED to honor the PRO discount and the products will still sell out. So, they decided (out of the blue?) to not give it to us on a collection we've always received it on! Nonsense.

i know this won't help at all but I agree with others, you really need to see the products in person this time. I don't think anything online looks as it did in person. Especially the private party lipstick. It looks more plum/berry online, but in person it's more mauve. Center of attention's gold color was VERY yellow and glittery. I'm not a fan of MES but I seriously considered buying all the MES's as they are soooooooooo pretty in person. Even the ones way out of my comfort zone but I know myself and single shadows never get used by me so trying to save money.

I feel like I am gonna end up with one of each, too. I think it's because they are all nice colors and decent quality? I am not even gonna pretend some of these are gifts for other people. Lol.

Not to take anything away from the awesome job she does at fueling our make up addiction...but....I assumed blogging is her full time job?
Get enough eyes on your site and advertisers will pay quite nicely. So getting new stuff and keeping up with what's now is essential.
