You're gorgeous and your makeup is perfect!I finally got a chance to play with the products from this collection. I love Diamonds!!! It's so pretty and a little goes a long way (I'm wearing it in the pictures below just on my cheek bones)
The blush is as beautiful as I expected- nice flush of color on the cheeks! (I'm wearing it in the pictures below)
The lippies are gorgeous and like most ppl here the TTT was a little patchy on my bottom lip only but that's ok. I LOVE Nude!!! Who's that chick is a little sheer on me but it's still very pretty.
Hibiscus kiss is nice but I can't use the bronzer for it's purpose. It's light like a highlight shade on me so i'll probably use it for a brow highlight or lid color (do we know if it's safe for that?) as it kinda sinks into my skin.

I finallyyyyyyyy got my hands on the RiRi Nude!!!!!! I only wanted that one thing from the collection and searched high and low for it but nada. Yesterday, I popped into Macy's to try Exclusive Event and hated it. I decided to ask the MUA if she thought RiRi Nude would ever be redistributed; she told me about how a shipment was misplaced in the dock below the store and they had gotten three RiRi Nudes in and there was one left!!!!!!! I felt like Willy Wonka!!!!!!! :wave:

Only suggestion is to mix it with another lipstick. It looks a bit like that on me-- too brown-- if I don't use another lipstick with it. Personally I don't mind doing that because of the formula and the long lasting effect of the Retro Matte lipsticks.. I've mixed it with a lot of different colors and the best combo -- for me -- is a satin finish on top of the Riri nude lipstick. Satin's provide a little extra moisturize but just a minimal amount...so it doesn't cancel out the long-lasting effect of the retro matte.
I know a lot of people are against buying and/or keeping a lipstick if it can't hold up on it's own and you have to mix in something else to make it work.. but to me -- the formula makes it well worth it..

My Nordies box came in yay! Well it came in yesterday from overseas its pretty speedy but not like the states, I alwasy see everyones goodies before so i makes me ansy haha
well I got my box but i wasnt able to play with the items becasuse I had to prep for a 9 mile hike and i wanted to be in bed early cuz we would be starting at wee early hours before sun is up and crap.
Anyways, It doesnt look as fun as I look like im having but it was all for training and building camaraderie.
Back to makeup, I got to play with my items after work so i pulled them out getting ready to go out for dinner. I wore diamonds, and bggg
Diamonds im iffy about because its not like any other ccb ive tried (pearl and fawntastic) those leave a sheen, diamonds is like the sheen blends out and all you're left is with a glitter mess.. well its not obvious unless you're up close and personal. Ima play with it some more but im having second doubts. I used a 188 to apply. I really want to love it because i love the color
BGGG reminds me of a mix
of Equalibrium (Mac me Over collect) a because of the sheen and coppertone because of the color. Its really nice for everyday and on lighter skintones possibly a bronzer for a glow. Its a keeper
I got HK will try that out tomorrow
same with the liners although i am waiting on TTT but its on its way thanks to fellow specktraette!
I tried nude and I am so surprised by it i thought it wasnt going to workout for me but after all the raves I bought it on a limb and on nordies so if i had to return it it wouldnt be that big of a hassle. I thought it would clash because of the olive tones i have but it looks good in a weird way to me i like it a lot so im glad i got EE from DN too. Still wantting on those too.
Heres a pic with my natural lips, they're pigmented as you can tell and they tend to turn lipsticks mauvey especially nudes and pink
and here is with Nude on! It looks a bit corpse but idk why i am liking that look a lot. I am wearing BGGG and diamonds idk if you can tell, its late my room has horrible florescent lights I wanted to share because im an nc40 and idk how many there are on here haha. Sorry for the bad iphone quality, I have my nikon i should use that you guys make these pics look so easy it took me forever tries!

So I finally tried my Nude and WTC. I am loving Nude, which is a biggie because most nudes look terrible on me. I'm so happy to have finally found one that works. I'm using it with NYX lip liner in Dark Brown. Now WTC...it's not working for me. For some reason, my lips aren't showing the orange pigment and it just looks like a dry gold frost. So jealous of all you ladies that it look fabulous on! Anyone have any suggestions on a liner I can use with it?
