My Nordies box came in yay! Well it came in yesterday from overseas its pretty speedy but not like the states, I alwasy see everyones goodies before so i makes me ansy haha

well I got my box but i wasnt able to play with the items becasuse I had to prep for a 9 mile hike and i wanted to be in bed early cuz we would be starting at wee early hours before sun is up . \

and here is with Nude on! It looks a bit corpse but idk why i am liking that look a lot. I am wearing BGGG and diamonds idk if you can tell, its late my room has horrible florescent lights I wanted to share because im an nc40 and idk how many there are on here haha. Sorry for the bad iphone quality, I have my nikon i should use that you guys make these pics look so easy it took me forever tries!

So I finally tried my Nude and WTC. I am loving Nude, which is a biggie because most nudes look terrible on me. I'm so happy to have finally found one that works. I'm using it with NYX lip liner in Dark Brown. Now WTC...it's not working for me. For some reason, my lips aren't showing the orange pigment and it just looks like a dry gold frost. So jealous of all you ladies that it look fabulous on! Anyone have any suggestions on a liner I can use with it?

I haven't had any real trouble with it (I get the orange/gold look) but I played with it last night applying it over RRW liner (which honestly...I think I like Cherry better for RRW). That gave it more of orange-red look on me...on you it may help bring out the orange a bit if you don't overdo the liner. Just a thought.

Now if you're wanting the look closer to how it looks in the tube...not sure if What A Blast would work or maybe Lasting Sensation? Just thinking off of the top of my head. Those may be completely off.

So it is still available at pro stores? I thought I saw someone had to go through mission impossible style techniques to get one lol. Unfortunately, there isn't a pro store in my entire state so that would require a call unless it shows up online for pro members (I have yet to bother to check but since no one mention it I assumed it didn't).

Back to makeup, I got to play with my items after work so i pulled them out getting ready to go out for dinner. I wore diamonds, and bggg Diamonds im iffy about because its not like any other ccb ive tried (pearl and fawntastic) those leave a sheen, diamonds is like the sheen blends out and all you're left is with a glitter mess.. well its not obvious unless you're up close and personal. Ima play with it some more but im having second doubts. I used a 188 to apply. I really want to love it because i love the color BGGG reminds me of a mix of Equalibrium (Mac me Over collect) a because of the sheen and coppertone because of the color. Its really nice for everyday and on lighter skintones possibly a bronzer for a glow. Its a keeper I got HK will try that out tomorrow same with the liners although i am waiting on TTT but its on its way thanks to fellow specktraette! I tried nude and I am so surprised by it i thought it wasnt going to workout for me but after all the raves I bought it on a limb and on nordies so if i had to return it it wouldnt be that big of a hassle. I thought it would clash because of the olive tones i have but it looks good in a weird way to me i like it a lot so im glad i got EE from DN too. Still wantting on those too. Heres a pic with my natural lips, they're pigmented as you can tell and they tend to turn lipsticks mauvey especially nudes and pink and here is with Nude on! Your pictures were great!! The nude doesn't make you look like a corpse - it looks great on you! And the blush and Diamonds CCB make your skin look so glowy, healthy and radiant..

Wow, that is stunning! Thanks for the suggestions. I do have RRW liner but haven't used it yet. I can't wait to try this look! I don't have any orange liners, but I've been wanting to pick up Lasting Sensation for the longest, so maybe I'll give that a try.

You look gorgeous! I am trying to figure out the best way to apply Diamonds. I can hear my MAC manager angel telling me not to apply with my fingers because the oils in my skin will mix with the product and break down the wear time. What's everyone else using? The 187 is way too flimsy. I feel like anything denser would be over the top. :/

I am trying to figure out the best way to apply Diamonds. I've applied it with my fingers and I think it looks great that way but next time I apply it, I want to try it with the MAC 192 (discontinued but Sigma's F65 looks similar) in a dabbing, patting motion to see how it comes out. I'll try it one day this weekend and come back with my thoughts on how it worked.

ETA: Going thru my brushes I came across the Real Techniques Setting Brush. I might give that a try one day as well. I'll try the 192 on Saturday and the RT on Sunday and see how it comes out.

Hmm I will have to check eBay out if the prices are more reasonable. I don't even know if it will work with my oily skin so I'm not willing to pay to much over. $30 something wouldn't be bad though
