Just thought I would jump in to say I haven't received anything about the VIB sale either! And I'm VIB Rouge! Have been since July. Every time I get an email from Sephora, I think maybe they emailed me the info, but nope. Nothing via snail mail either. I mean, if it's the same code for everybody, I guess it's no big, but I feel left out! Thank goodness for Specktra or I wouldn't even have a clue when the VIB sale was going to happen.

This is true. I will be using the L'Occtaine stuff a lot as my skin dries out a lot in winter and I'm soon moving to a place where it's already snowing in October. That's a good strategy to save money-I think when things go on sale I get blinded by the "new" and the discount. I definitely don't need any more nail polishes as I used to be a collector. I may just get the Dior one since it's a little more unique than the Wicked ones. I should take a hard look at my stash this weekendIf you need to save money, then just try to buy what you really need and limited editions which wont be here next year. Try thinking what you would really use, and what you would use only couple times and can basically wait to buy next year, instead of sitting on the shelf
L'Occtaine has nice holiday bundles, which save money in long run if you use their stuff often.
Deborah Lippmann Wicked set is actually more expensive then her normal polishes considering the size.
No VIB card for me yet, but I got a book I've been wanting forever in the mail today, so I'm still pretty happy. At least the code is universal.

I love November for another reason!! My birthday is coming up!! And I just remembered I have a $50 Sephora gift card to spend with the VIB sale!I'm so happy it's almost November! EXACTLY!!! I had to learn a technique thru trial n error cuz I used to always get that raggedy azz Tyrone Biggums flashback!! I had it wit MUFE HD and TARTE smooth operator powder too!! I learned what u said...PRESS it on ur face and I blend to the gawds hunty and to finish it I add a powder of my tone on top (mainly mac msf)!! once u grasp the technique u can totally use the powders to ur advantage for a flaaaawless application!!Oh yea btw I got nars blushes in Douceur and Nico from the Fand F sale! I mean any little bit off those helps. I am waiting for my VIB discount to get here so I can go get the 2 blushes from Guy Bourdin collection as wel as the face pallette and 2 lippies. lol
i got nars douceur from a sale around here somewhere...if ur darker than me it miiiiight not show up like that on u cuz it barely shows up on me!! l basically use it to blend out my contour (aka kontour daaaarling) tho n it's definitely fool proof.
