Sephora Friends & Family 2013

I don't have a ton to fill so I may buy the Hourglass one. Currently I use and like MAC Spiked, but of course I'd like to find something I can get a discount + rewards on if possible. MAC's price is better though.

Just lost my damn mind in sephora and that's with putting stuff back. Got the biggest bottle of flowerbomb. It was the last one, too. Plus I got another perversion liner from UD. The one I have now is a stub. I also got the mufe extravagant mascara b/c im almost out of my chanel mascara. Other little items like a gorgeous blue sephora polish, sephora lashes, sephora highlighter and a l'occitane hand cream that smells like roses. I'm done. Sephora got me but I saved $50.

Did you get that white LE bottle? I don't know if I'm feeling that. What Sephora highlighter did you pick up? My daughter wanted a new highlighter b/c she hit pan on Shell Pearl and ended up with the Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder in Highlight. She had swatched several it was exactly what she was picturing in her head she claimed. She didn't want anything too glittery. That dang thing was $36. Ouch! I was heading over to Sephora Collection to see what we could get there, but too late. Getting her stuff pushed me into Rouge status.

I actually spent around $300 because I bought stuff on Friday, too. Whoops.

I could easily have done that, but then wandering around Target happened on Saturday. I think that's the only thing that kept me from another haul! There's just too much good stuff this time of year

My local Sephora didn't have it but another one did. I put it on hold. This palette better be worth it.

Oh, I know! That's the time of year when I stock up on DVDs. I didn't get any of Sephora's Black Friday deals last year, but I'll definitely check out the deals this year

Thank you for that! I check Amazon daily too. I have a couple of TV shows/games that I'm hoping will go cheap closer to Black Friday. Last year I went to Walmart at 8 on Thanksgiving night and got all of the Harry Potter movies for $2 each, so I may be tempted to go by there again this year. I hate crowds but can't pass up deals like that. We're moving in about 2 months as well and I know I shouldn't buy more. My cousin gave me a huge DVD cabinet last winter and it's already full. And that's just one of my collections. I'm dreading to think about packing up all of my makeup again.

85% of my DVD collection is from when I had an expendable income and no bills. Now I buy a small amount every year and stock up on Black Friday. I really should clean out some of them, as I have no room! They do sell out in seconds. I was barely able to get a Batman game a few years ago and it took a few lightning deals before I could grab it. I hate crowds too. My husband loves to go to Goodwill and I usually stay in the car because I can't deal with that many people in my personal space. I might wait up til midnight to see if I can grab a few Best Buy deals online this year. I have to say, if any of the stores put Elementary Season One on $15 or less, I will be there! I actually managed to get a really good deal on a TV a few years ago too.

Does anyone know roughly how long it takes to get your order once it's shipped? This is my first time ordering from Sephora online (Canada) so I was just wondering. I got a message saturday that my order shipped on the 8th but when I tried to track my package on Sephora's website today they had the message, "Until your order ships, you will not see any tracking information for parcels shipped against your order" . I realize they must have a crazy amount of packages to deliver right now but has anyone ever received their orders without having tracked them on the website?

I guess I'm just getting impatient to play with my goodies!

Sephora online orders have really stepped up in the last month or so. Once you receive an email that your order is shipped, in a few days, you will receive another email order from BorderFree. That's when your order has reached the border (usually in Mississauga in Ontario) and you would get the tracking number via Canada Post. Today Canada Post is closed for Remembrance Day so I am guessing in the next day or two, you would get your tracking info.

I've ordered 3 times from Sephora online (Canada) before. The first two times it took around 2-3 weeks from the time I placed order to arrival. The latest order I put in October was much faster, took 5 days.

I just placed an order yesterday and I see the same message when I tried tracking my package. This most likely means they have not shipped the package yet. The sequence of events in processing/shipping the parcel should be : 1) Sent to International Processing, 2) Parcel Shipped (from US) 3) Processing Complete. They give you a tracking number (for Canada post) when you see Parcel Shipped in the status.

The Thierry Mugler 500 set is a super good deal. I know the scent is very in your face and not for everyone. But it's an awesome 500 point perk for those who love the fragrance. I'm surprised it's lasted this long

I liked Ethereal Light so much when I swatched it that I grabbed it when it popped back in stock. I also bought the Beauty Blender duo kit with the cleanser and a Sugar Rose kit for my mother. I cannot believe I've bought so much lately. Ouch. I'm placing myself on a no-buy for awhile. I had everything I could possible need for the foreseeable future. I will get Naked 3, but that's going to be part of my bday gift from my hubby.

No one ever knows what to get me, so I might put some of these items aside as gifts from other people. Yes, that makes me feel better. Then it's not all my own money. LOL

I'm in the same boat. I placed my order on day 1 of the VIB sale and keep going back to see if I need anything else before it ends. I can't believe how much money I've spent on makeup this year. If I went back and made a list of everything I bought this year. I'm sure it would be 10 times as much as I've bought in my whole life total.

How is Sephora rouge status counted? Is it Dec-Dec, or one year @ any point? I am about 75$ away now, so if it is year to year I will try to find something @ Black Friday.
