MAC Magnetic Nude Collection (December 26, 2013)

Man I might skip the e/s that I was planning to get (sweet heat& natural flirt) for the rose naked 3 palette. They look nice but I remember these to be like $21 for regular small pan in the glamourdaze collection.

Strangely enough, It's Physical, the purple/brown f/l is still what I'm most excited for - it's an amazing color and I'm going to love using it subtly in the brows.

I'm probably going to resist the eye shadows, although Amorous Alloy and Silver Dawn are tempting - I probably have dupes, especially for AA.

'Same goes for the lipsticks - I definitely have colors that are so similar, even in the same finishes. I'd rather get a couple of the Huggable nudes and MLBBs instead.

The blushes I'm grabbing for sure and at least Fairly Precious - I don't need a second Superb and Magnetic Appeal may not be the right shade for my skin.

There are a couple of glosses that are just my kind of colors, but I already have some similar shades, so we shall see...


All in all, it's a great collection if you hadn't gone wild with Apres Chic, like I did, since the colors are very similar for a lot of things.

Yeah they were, I wish they go back to large pans. But i still want a back up of natural flirt for fear this might go the way of Ever Hip. lol

GD had special packaging so it should be a bit cheaper. However, they really are expensive for single eyeshadows.

Yes, particularly when compared to a palette cost. I really like ANF, but not enough to pay $24-25 Cdn for a bitty shadow.I'll be impressed if I manage to finish any e/s at this point. I do have a pretty significant dip in All That Glitters, but I can't tell how close I am to pan.

My list is still the same so far but I've added the Chilled Fluidline. I love those types of colors for cream shadows!

Amourous Alloy EDES brings to mind my Metal X Red Hot Copper. Totally love these colors ! I don't really think they are actual dupes tho but I need to revisit RHC and others in that formula befrnore they dry out on me . Can't wait to see the stars of the show-the EDSFs. I am thinking to go back for the glosses later on in the launch in order to maximize really getting the skinfinishes, blushes and es. My feelings won't be hurt if I miss out on getting another Mac lipgloss anytime soon and my stash won't even notice the difference if I am honest with myself. Pleasure Model blush and Amourous Alloy already belongs to me!

I'm also not sure anymore..hmm..I really do want another amplified cream, and "Close Contact" seems to be the more likely choice because "Sensual Sparks" looks way too dark and brown...but then again, "Close Contact" looks like it might wash me out. x_x I'm gonna have to wait for more swatches before I make a sound decision buuut as of now...I think I'll probably get "Close Contact." "Morning Rose" is actually quite pretty so maybe I'll get both.

Waaah, lovely swatches, but just made my maybe list even longer! Currently easier to say what I'm not interested in than what I am lol. All the powder products except the ones I already own (At Dusk, ANF) and Magnetic Appeal will be under consideration. Hopefully when I swatch on my own skin I will be able to narrow it down a lot further. ETA Also, I didn't think I could love At Dusk any more than I already do, but tried a new combo - topped it with Unconventional - and oh yeah!

I am kind of meh on the lipsticks, and I am trying to avoid the eye shadows. I have several colors in the larger pans. The price for the smaller pans seems high to me. I really wanted to see the Skin finishes and Autoerotique. Those are the items I really want from this collection. But Oh my darling looks lovely and I might have to grab chilled fluidline.

LOL that's all we really have right now. Hopefully more pics and swatches start rolling in soon! I think we're all antsy at this point lol. I'm itching for MSF pics and swatches!! I hope my Nordies start receiving their stock soon. I really can't wait to violate these testers lmao

Not much here for me thank goodness. Maybe Morning Rose, but probably not. It's similar enough to one of my Clinique Chubby Sticks. I wanted Close Contact, but peach in the m/u world is so light and not at all what I imagine peach to be in the real world.
I'm now saying no to the blushes b/c I haven't enjoyed the two EDB I have - Flaming Chic and Blazing Haute. Both seem ashy on my cheeks w/ BH looking slightly dirty. I know liba said to try them w/o a base product (and I might before I ditch them), but complexion is my priority and if I was skipping foundation I wouldn't reach for blush. Liner, yes. Blush, no.
The only things left on my list were the EDSFs. I have Superb and was going to list it for sale after using it twice, but y'all were raving about it in this thread so I've tried it about 3 more times and I dunno. What blush shades does it compliment? I mostly own NARS, but the MAC blushes I have are: Modern Mandarin, Hidden Treasure, Ripe for Love, Style, and Small Vanity. (I found a brand new The Perfect Cheek in a box in my solarium last weekend. I thought I got rid of that? Also found a Small Vanity b/u. *shakeshead*) I'd like to see swatches of the other two EDSFs. I want to get rid of my Definitely Defined though before I buy new shades. Attempt to be a little bit practical.
