Anyway, my gripe with the ebay sellers is that they buy from these collections only to resale them at double, triple the price. They dont buy for use like we do on here, thats not cool to me.

That's what upsets me, they're not lipstick fanatics. Lol, while you do make good profit reselling them, it's not nice for the people that couldn't get their hands on them. I've seen heroine going for up to 80$. That's waaaaay too much. I'm glad that's becoming permanent & I'll be able to get my hands on it w out paying the obnoxious prices!
it breaks my heart to see folks that press to spend that kinda money for a lipstick, mainly for packagin cuz it aint like u cant find any dupes. There are some wonderful laydeez here who have been sellin her collections without the price of college funds!! smh!!
I have an understanding that there wasn't an exact dupe for Nude, but still. People shouldn't take advantage of that. It's horrible. I loved that color, too bad I look dead w it on )): TTT has some dupes, personally, I think some of the ones some lovely ladies mentioned on here were WAY better than TTT (formula wise). So there's no reason to give up an arm & leg for these collections. However, if I have extra funds, I'll try to get extra so if any of you beautiful ladies missed out on them, you can get your hands on one.
is it an exact nude? i dnt know and didnt do research but there's only but sooo many colors on the specktrum where im sure there is lipstick if not in the permanent range other brands whether high or low that looks pretty much the same on!! folks in general kill me when they be liiiiike "TTT and FOD are slightly differ becuz of such n such over n undertone n finish" liiike really...the shyt AWL looks the same when u slide it on ur lips

the only thing i've ever backed up is heroine and im debatin on just lettin that go cuz it'll end up bein permanent next year (or was i not suppose to say that) but other than that..im not backin up ever again only becuz i know realistically i wont finish ONE tube let alone 2,3,4,5. even if u wear a red lip everyday i think its a taaaad ridick to have like 5 RiWoo's, 7 RubyWoo's, 3 Viva Glam I's, 2 Russian reds and ummm yea u get my drift lol but thats just me!!

Really? What shade are u in MAC? I was gonna hunt down Sushi Kiss. I was looking up pics online and started obsessing again lol. It looks so pretty on some people but I don't wanna look like a clown (like I do in Ablaze).
Maybe I'm completely overlooking the mean girl parts (thank goodness!) because if it's really coming to that it's really ridiculous but I do think on some levels it's always been a case of some not liking when anyone says anything to anyone. I've been accused of attacking in the past just for letting someone know what people were trying to do...and later having that same person back track once they realized that they overreacted. It happens and it's fine. But if people are truly attacking there is no place for that and it's absolutely ridiculous. I don't have a problem if someone confronts me with what they feel may be an attack as long as they are open to allowing me to explain my position. If I am wrong I will own it, but if that person misunderstood my position I would hope that they were also big enough to admit their error. I can only speak for myself on this one but overall I couldn't care less if we really go with code system or not because ultimately I figure I will either get the items I want or I won't. I say this because honestly....chances are I will not be on Spectra when the announcement happens...I don't get emails when posts happen because if I did my inbox would be flooded (I stopped that a long time ago lol). So honestly, the posts have probably only benefitted me once or twice...BUT I do understand that so many others have missed out and really feel the pain so I sympathize. I realize that the code system is elementary at best but it was something that one of our members came up with and for now it's the best thing that anyone has come up with so to knock it is unnecessary when nothing better has been presented. Spectra, as much as we all love it, isn't the center of the makeup universe so of course there are likely other avenues on the Internet where the info may be available prior to it being available on here...no one is denying that. But Spectra has also been a place where some bloggers (and others) have gotten their info in order to spread it. At the end of the day arguing over this is pointless. You are on the Internet. You can't be bullied into participating no matter what it may seem like or how you or anyone may feel someone else is trying to do. And just so I am clear...I am saying "you" in general...it is NOT directed at you specifically, but at any one that feels like anyone has been attacking them, been a "mean girl", are trying to control things, dictate things, whatever. The point is...people can either participate or not. People can choose to follow the code system or not. It's not a rule. It's not a requirement. It's not an attack. It's not a question of whether you are grown or not. The pm I received about the code system WAS received from a moderator BUT it wasn't based on a forum rule. It was based on a member suggested idea that some members were choosing to do. That is all. Saying it was about anything else is completely false. Can we PLEASE let this issue die? Obviously, some don't want to participate...which is perfectly fine. I swear it seems like we get a flair up like this every other collection release :shrugs:
I thought the PB looked like one of the ones that just came out in the RM collection. Idk, I just realized the summer collection are exactly like 3 of the lipsticks MAC has in their permanent collection. MAC is making all this money of us, so they dgaf if it's the same colors supposedly designed by a celebrity. But anyway, I don't think anybody should get their panties in a bunch over all of this.
