That's my problem, too! Thanks erine. I think it looks too powdery and I don't use the sponge I use a large duo fibre brush. Next time I'll try it with a large powder brush.
My daughter says I'm being ridiculous and looking at myself 1/4 inch from the mirror is not how anyone else sees it. She may be right.
I use the 150 to apply it, and i wear it solo. Also, keep in mind that it's a completely different animal than the mineral loose, which is an actual foundation, and not a powder, like the MSFN. Not sure if you knew that. Can I ask what tool you use to apply MSFN with? I'm also a fan (going through my third one at least), but I wear it over F&B. ATM just lightly because my skin is very dry (but super moisturized with serum&cream&oil) and the winter is just coming. Yes, I think esp. some young people use just way too heavy foundations. I have not tested out Light (just Light Plus which is more yellow than the more neutral/NWish Medium I'm using atm) but I can say that the compact is a million times better than the messy loose version! That's my problem, too!:haha:
What color did you buy?I bought MSFN yesterday at a CCO and I'm loving it so far. I prefer it instead of the Careblend powder. The Careblend felt a little drying while the MSFN feels like I have nothing on. Me gusta mucho
Medium DarkWhat color did you buy?
Yes, i bought MD too. I bought it here For 13 bucks i think so good deal. Msfn is always in my cosmetic bag. Idk if is correct but I use msfn with my studio fix powder (together)Medium Dark I thought I would need Medium Plus but when I tried it, it was a little too light for me.
Wow that's a really good deal! I think I'm going to start carrying it around in my bag a lot too.Idk if is correct but I use msfn with my studio fix powder (together)
Well Studio Fix powder is meant to be a foundation on its own. Depending how you apply it it might look too valey with both powders. Fix+ at the end should help make it look more natural but I'm really not sure how both products would work together!Wow that's a really good deal! I think I'm going to start carrying it around in my bag a lot too. I'm not sure about using it with studio fix powder, hopefully someone here can answer.
Thanks for sharing! I think you use both it would be best too apply the MSFN very lightly over Studio Fix. I completely forgot about about Fix+ lol! You don't want to use them both together. SF is foundation and powder in one, so wearing MSFN on top of SF is redundant.Yes, i bought MD too. I bought it here For 13 bucks i think so good deal. Studio Fix used to be the only powder I wore everyday (therefore for setting concealer and the skin in general). It looks very nice, your skin will look very velvety and smooth with it, but I think it's what you'll call a more full-faced look. Eventually I switched to MAC Blot for everyday because my preference changed and I wanted a more natural look. I kept Studio Fix for formal occasions and also sometimes for spot coverage (dab on with 227 brush) when I need it. Gradually MSFN replaced Studio Fix for spot coverage because I didn't need such heavy coverage anymore. I still like Studio Fix for formal occasions though, but I don't think I'll be repurchasing one when it runs out because those don't happen often enough these days for me to keep a powder just for them.Wow that's a really good deal! I think I'm going to start carrying it around in my bag a lot too.

Thank you for the info! I was wearing the mineral loose with F&B or solo. I just did not like the messiness. I don't have any loose powders either.I use the 150 to apply it, and i wear it solo. It's been quiet on all the MAC threads. Everyone must be holiday shopping.I'm excited for it! But it's so quiet in this thread - we need more swatches and pics! Pretty please!
