I didn't even know until reading thru this thread that people were going to be able to order multiples of the same item. Why they all of a sudden decided to do this unlike all the other launches is beyond me and simply ridiculous. What the hell is wrong with MAC? Seriously. The thing that pisses me off about restocks is you have NO CLUE when they occur and they too sell out by the time people realize they happened. What do they expect people to do, check MAC once an hour for the next two weeks? Good GAWD they need to get over themselves!

I think this launch has to be the worst from previous releases. People were able to place more than one order while others were stuck in the limbo of the waiting room which by the time we got out the items we wanted were sold out. I called MAC to complain and they said they were planning on restocking pleasure bomb but not bgrr. Which I don't really believe them cause MAC isn't reliable.

That makes absolutely no sense, especially if what the ladies on here is saying is true that Bad Girl sold out before Pleasurebomb. If you are going to restock one, restock all. It is more money in their pocket in the long run. *smh*

And now that I think about it, where is Richelle? LOL

If it makes you feel any better, all 4 of my devices were in the waiting room at 12:56 and I STILL didn't get any lippies.

Next time, I'm just going to refresh on my own, because clearly there isn't a "first come, first served" type of order to the waiting room. It's just whenever the browser happens to refresh on your timing and theres and opening. My boyfriend who's in tech just explained this....after he finally understood what I meant by MAC's version of "waiting room". It only took him 3 releases lol.

Amen! Its very disappointing to see how they put this in place to avoid certain mishaps and it does absolutely nothing to curb them...It only complicated things and brought on the frustration on to the 10th power...

Exactly! And for some reason when I clicked on the eyeliners cockiness said sold out and Pisces persuasion said sold out soon but wouldn't allow me to place it in the basket!?! Major WTF

Annoyingly, I had to do to orders to get some of what I wanted using an American and Canadian ip address. Like, why are we jumping through hoops?! BUT GOODNEWS:I called in my order and got everything I wanted. Give that a try girls. MEERY CHRISTMAS Expect a long hold though I waited 40mins

I can't imagine that any company would hold your order until you have the money.

They usually send an email asking for another form of payment and give you like two days. It happened to me before because I used a Visa gift card.

I'm so sorry to hear that quite a few of you had a negative experience with this waiting room. It really seems like it's the luck of the draw when it comes to this setup and unfortunately, it seems like many people don't get an equal opportunity to obtain the products due to it, in addition to there being such a limited quantity. Although my experiences with the past waiting rooms have been pretty decent overall (except for the Fall Collection when I got in and everything I wanted was sold out), I'm thankful that this is process coming to an end with this collection.

@Mayanas My purchase hasn't come out of my bank account yet either, but if I remember correctly it took them a few hours last time when the Fall collection launched. I wouldn't worry as long as you got your confirmation email and it will probably be taken out when they ship it at the very latest.

I'm guessing they flew through their online inventory since it seems they didn't limit the quantities to 1 per piece per order this collection. I'm guessing all the resellers were there ready to pounce and got the max quantity allowed (4). I think limiting it to 1 in the past helped things last longer. But now everyone and their mother knows how popular these RiRi collections are! Making it nearly impossible for true makeup and MAC lovers to get their stuff.
And I find it really cute that when a few Specktras were able to use a link to access a past RiRi collection early, THAT was a HUGE deal and they cancelled orders and everything! But it's ok for MAC to launch several minutes early... which is all it takes for professional resellers to get the edge.
Just to prove a point, I won't get anything from this collection now. Not in store. And not during any restocks. MAC knows we'll all start scampering for their items, that's how they get away with this! And I can make a prediction already that the in store launches will be low quantity and a hot mess! This is how they are pumping us all up for RiRi's viva glam campaign. I won't let them win this one. I'm not buying from this collection now no matter what.
I'll get the RiRi viva glam lippie if I like it and it's easily accessible since it's for a good cause. The End.

I think what they will do is cancel the order then send you a notice to let you know that something was wrong with the order and to either call them to possible provide the payment info to complete it or that you can just reorder online when you have the funds.

Can I just ask why MAC lets you get in/order before the release time and have cancelled orders in the past if ordered before 9AM/12PM???

thanks i'm calling back. i knew something sounded weird about it. i can't remember the last time i paid for shipping when ordering from their site.

The US site always has free shipping for the general public.

Just checked Mac Canada to see how long it would take me. No real interest in this collection but after hours ad hours last time, just wanted to compare. Got in under five minutes (an hour later granted) and the BGRR and Pleasurebomb are sold out as well as the white liner! Good thing I was skipping anyway!

They'll probably ship sooner than that too, my stuff usually always ships a lot sooner than the projected date.
