I agree - its beautiful!

You know, I was skeptical at first but I wanted to try it and I'm so glad I did. I use it on its own and also as a base for Chanel Les 4 Ombrès Quadra Eyeshadow, Lagons.

Yes! I use it under my foundation and put more on than I would if I were putting it on top. I love applying cream blush that way. The color looks so soft---like it's emanating from within

I was debating between Presage and Fantastic. I like orange a little more, but I haven't been wearing the ones I have lately. They don't seem right for winter. Am I wrong? (Probably, lol) I think I have: MAC- Modern Mandarin, Ripe for Love, Style; NARS- Taj Mahal, Rotonde; Maybelline Coral Burst. I tend to wear cool tone lip shades and try to keep my cheeks congruent with my lips so usually cool or neutral. Chanel Revelation reminds me of Nars Seduction.

When in doubt---get both---Then there's no room for skipper's remorse! I have MM & RFL too--no comparison
beyond color. It's about the texture, color pay-off, that youthful flush of color on my moon face and the over-all
wearability.

I've read and seen so many amazing reviews for the Chanel Charming palette that I started feeling that I wanted it. I thought it was out of stock almost everywhere in the UK but I live in Spain so when I saw it for sale and at a reasonable price I caved and bought it!!

This is my first Chanel item, I've never bought anything from them, beauty, fragrance or clothes or accessories. I'm very excited to try it!
They still had quite a few of them for sale and the price is more reasonable than in the US, it's even a bit cheaper than the UK! So if anyone is feeling skipper's remorse I'm willing to grab one for you and ship it wherever. I just thought it would be a nice thing to do to help fellow specktrettes if anyone is desperate to find it!

Blazing Haute was ashy on me so Presage may be it. I put them both on my list with an or, but maybe I'll tell them Presage for sure. That's the first one I was drawn to of the collection. I emailed my list and quickly got a text from daughter asking if she, too, could get an item on my list. Little knucklehead... you know I had been looking before she asked.

i keep hearing about Charming here but I'm not doing any research on it and I try not to read the whole sentence when is see the word charming lmao. i don't want to go crazy and buy too many things.

I decided to order Initiation again but from the Nordies site. I'm being so anal about the consistency of mine now. I just love that mousey type texture that my other illusion d'ombre has that this non-creamy version is kinda of annoying me and is not making me too happy even though the color is awesome. I hope this one comes just as creamy as when i first ordered initiation lol. I am a hot mess

That's really very sweet of you! As far as I know it's pretty readily available still in the US.

It was actually a pair of jeans. She needs some new ones. I got her so much makeup so far I don't even recall what it was. The new Nars blush palette plus Couer Battant. Probably Naked3. Riri lippies. Perfume. Random Black Friday Sephora items. A handmade brush roll from here. I need to stop as she actually needs the cash. She wants a flat screen tv but I plan to give her the money to buy that so we don't have to ship it back down to SC. Plus I'm gonna get her a huge rolling makeup train case which is pricey. Overbudget as usual.

And secondly has anyone with oily skin tried Soleil Tan De Chanel as a makeup primer base ? I am trying not to entertain the thought but it may just be the perfect base as the color and consistency will blend well with foundations and my skintone.

Wish I could help Debbs---I have Fatal but I don't have SM EDES. No to your Chanel question. That said, I would love to find a primer that is light in texture, doesn't
cause skin eruptions, that's affordable & performs well under my foundation. I currently use La Bella Donna Co Exist Gel Crème. It works beautifully but it's $198 for a 2oz
jar.

Please let me know how the Chanel item works for you. I've had the Co Exist for 5 mths, I use it daily and it's half full. A very small amount covers my entire face.

I know some use the soleil tan de chanel as an actual foundation. Ofcourse the skin tone has to match the color, but they do and it is supposed to be as a universal primer. Get a sample but I use the hourglass mineral veil and it works nicely but I'm not oily so would suggest a sample too.
