MAC Magnetic Nude Collection (December 26, 2013)

Well looks like just Autoerotique and chilled for me so far because I already have BGGG.

After seeing the swatch of Chilled in temptalia's swatch gallery I wonder whether it is close to Fancy Frosting paint pot.
If they are close I can skip Chilled because I want to use it mostly as a base and have already Fancy Frosting + BU.

To me the EDSF feel a bit more creamy and look much more metallic.  The MSF are more powdery and have more of a glittery sparkle as opposed to metallic sheen.  They are both beautiful in their own right, it really just depends on what sort of look you are going for.  Here is a side by side swatch of Soft and Gentle MSF and Whisper of Guilt EDSF. Photos don't do justice to how beautiful these are, but you can get an idea or consistency here.  Personally I love the metallic look and If I could only choose one highlighter it would be an EDSF. Try a denser brush... I think the 159 is great at picking up EDSF, although I don't swipe the brush or swirl it, I dab at it to kick up more product... pretty much the concept that pinkdollface suggested, you create a small layer of loose powder on the surface of the product by dabbing at it with your brush bristles.

I've been trying it with the 128 which is one of the densest brushes I have. I wiped it off really good with a cotton ball today and it worked MUCH better.

And seeing this makes me certain I will be getting Pleasure Model if it's a potential dupe for BGGG. BGGG might be my fave MAC blush ever.

BGGG is a bit more muted, maybe pinker it seems, but that's ok. I think I will love PM just as much!

All the swatches are driving me nuts (in a good way lol).
Can you wear fluid lines alone or do they have to be set? It's Physical and Our Secret are so pretty but I know they wont stand out as just liners and are too pretty to be a base!!!

At the moment I'm thinking Magnetic Appeal (it's beautiful), Pleasure model and maybe Carnal Instinct.

Then that's it for makeup purchases til the end of the year. I should be able to avoid buying anything in that short amount of time. Right? RIGHT?!?!

Lipstick goes up in price every half year. Its about that time they raised it i think. But odd its not 15.50 so maybe it is a typo
