MAC Punk Couture Collection (December 26, 2013)

So I'm totally new to the whole mac collection thing because I've never been interested in most of them but this Punk Couture one because that's more my style. But I thought that the collection didn't get released on Mac's website till the 26th so I was just going to wait till midnight the 25th to order, but now everyone on here is saying it could be released earlier? I'm just confused on how I should get this collection: Start waiting for it now, or wait until the 26th?

With MAC you never know what they might do, but if all else fails and you miss the collection online you could always try a counter. Good luck, hope you get what you want.

Just a former lurker checking in to say - thank you to the folks who let others know when this stuff goes live and where. I waited in the ridiculous online MAC waiting room at launch time for the last two RiRi launches and Retro Matte and left with next to nothing to show for it - I just wanted TTT and FoD. I had no idea that MAC was launched on department store websites before on MAC's own site from time to time. I'm not a reseller, just a frustrated long-time MAC customer (bought my first VIVA Glam in 1996) that's fed up with trying to get one of the three to five lipsticks they send to the MAC store in my major metropolitan city and had no luck with the online experience, either.

Hi There! Agreed! I'm a newbie as well and I have to say everyone's love for makeup here is great. Like many of you, I was shocked that MAC counters only had 3 lipsticks from the RiRi collection. & I wasn't aware of the online department store sales. So I thank you ladies for sharing as well!

so i just came back from my local mac store in NY and they only have 15 of each color, with a limit of one. so i am going to be stalking hard now

Asked at my local MAC counter today and they told me they only got 5 of each lipstick, except for SK which they got a few more of.  No wonder these things sell out so quickly...

Oh heeeeell no... I guess I need to scrap my plan of shopping in store. I need to order PC online and get MN in store.

Missed Instigator and Punk Couture on Bloomingdales but woke up in time to see someone post it was on Macys. I don't think I've ordered something so fast SMH. I was expecting to pay for shipping but surprisingly it was free. That's a bonus. I ordered two of each. Hopefully everything goes smoothly and I get my lippies. I don't want to stalk MAC during Christmas but we'll see how Macys does. *fingers crossed*

Wow. I finally am able to get PC with Macy's and shipping is $10...seriously? Guess I have to wait for MAC after all, and with that being said it'll probably sell out before I can get it.

Placed an order at one of these stores. Got confirmation email. My order is Instigator, PC, and the Chartreuse pigment. I can breathe easier and go to sleep...I think.

I really do wonder how many lipsticks from each collection MAC produces. It seems like most states/stores get about 5-10, 15 if you're lucky and maybe something like 50-60 if its a really busy popular location like Las Vegas. I just wonder if there's only like...10, 000 lipsticks out there with that teeny amount stores get.

I was told that originally only high volume stores were going to get PC but it was changed to all stores, so possibly the lower volume stores were sent limited stock. Still crazy.

Macy's shipping is free when you spend $50 on beauty products.
