Merry ChristmasHello everyone, & Happy X-mas! This is my first post (woo!) and I'm really happy to be here as a poster after lurking for quite a while
I received all three Punk Couture lippies that I ordered from Nordstrom (I already had Hautecore from Black Friday) yesterday and I'm so excited about them! I lurked this thread/Nordstrom's site for about 48 hours, fell asleep at 1am EST and set my alarm for 3am EST, in spite of having to be up for work at 6am! So glad I did because all three colors are lovely. I almost didn't get Studded Kiss because I have so many similar colors but at the last minute, my boyfriend said "just use my credit card to order the last one" -- love him -- and I'm glad he did because it ended up being my favorite of the four. So pretty!
I do have a question for all you other lovelies that ordered from there, did you get your free samples? I specifically placed 3 different orders to get a bunch of different things and NONE of them were in my boxes :/ Not a huge deal, but I'm just wondering if I'm all alone in this or if anyone else had contacted them, what their responses were like. Truthfully, I'm just so happy that the lippies got here yesterday that I feel bad complaining about something so miniscule but at the same time, I'm a sample fiend

I got my samples but almost tossed them out as they were rolled up in a separate piece of the packing paper. I almost did not order any samples as I was afraid the samples might delay the delivery of the lipsticks.

I don't order samples from Nordstrom just for the simple fact that if my order is delayed, they take a HUGE box that can fit about 300 samples and filled with brown random hard paper, and waste so many resources just to send me 3 drops of 3 different perfumes. You would think that they have a better strategy for that.

I received my Studded Kiss and Cremesheens yesterday. Studded Kiss is disappointing. It's just ok on me. Nothing amazing. But I sort of expected that when it was being compared to Just A Bite. Just A Bite only looks ok on me, too. Glad I went with my gut and didn't order a BU. I like the Cremesheens, but I wish they were more opaque like past colors. Especially No Apologies. That color would be amazing if it was more opaque. I cant wait to try the other lipsticks when they get here. I plan to pair Punk Couture with my Hi-Def Cyan chromagraphic pencil, but I'll also test out my other MAC and NYX pencils with it. I don't have Rich Purple. I'm adding it to my to-buy list.
I saw a post asking how to use Stone lip pencil. I use it more as a neautralizer or to give a color a more cooler tone. It appears grey with a light purple tint on me.

Thanks for posting. I hope Grape gets repromoted, but you have confirmed my need for Rich Purple. It just shot up to the top of my list.

hmm i have Grape as well and when i used it with punk couture recently i felt like it made it less vibrant! i might throw Rich Purple in the basket and see how that works out for me. ty for the comparison swatch

Funny, I called 2 MAC stores in my area, one in a mall and one not and they both told me that they will be opening at 10am which seems awfully late for the day after Christmas. When they told me the time they seem a bit suspicious too because their voice went low.
