So are the RAV less dry than the very first RAVs? What about the RCs and RAs? I have read that the new RAs are more dry and emphasises fine lines.

Ahh, thats terrible! It will be an extra special after Christmas goodie :) Stupid me, I forgot to check the 'gift' thingy so I did not get a box :(
Darn, they should just automatically send the boxes! I have so many of the cloth pouches and I could use a couple more boxes ;)

Intonation creme blush - such a BEAUTIFUL slight peached, pink coral! Very face flattering shade.

La Diva - LOVE this on! Its a very wearable Violet Blue Pink. My very pigmented lips turn it just a slight rosier violet pink. Lovely!

aggh...sorry for the fuzzy thread from the bag that is on the blush ;)

I have a slight preference for the feel of the old RA formula - to me they just feel "lighter" on the lips somehow, but the new ones are fine. I don't find either the new ones or the old ones drying or moisturizing, and have not noticed anything about fine lines with either of them. Love the RCs. As for the newer RAVs...I've read the new ones are less dry but can't comment because I haven't gotten any. I tried La Diva but the color didn't work on me so I returned it. When I asked chanel.com they told me the RAV formula had not been changed.

Quadrille, L'Adoree & La Diva

Fatal Id'O on left; Diapason on right; I was doing some comparison swatches

The top right shade does have some glitter that could maybe have some fallout. I'm excited to wear this tomorrow.

L'Adoree..very wearable violet mauve, almost but not quite vampy on my complexion

La Diva, a little washed out, much brighter

I'm very happy so far. I have another L'Adoree on it's way along with the Preface powder.

wow, beautiful swatches, you made me want l'adoree (looks so gorgeous on you)

me too, i think the old RA were better formulated, at least for my lips, and yes, the RAVS accentuante fine lines, if your lips has some

err..I feel the difference in the newer RAs -- they are silkier on application and last longer. I don't see or have been informed of any significant changes tho.

They were reformulated awhile ago when the name changed to RA Luminous Intense Lip Colour (from RA Luminous Satin Lip Colour). There are very few left of the old formula - Flamboyante is the only one on Nordstrom online. They removed the parabens but I'm not sure exactly what else (if anything) changed.

Ahh bummer. I had to do just a very light application.

I wore Chamade blush Thursday and I love, love, love it. It's my favorite cream blush ever. So flattering and so easy to blend. I used a real techniques stippling brush (snatched the last one from ulta just a day earlier). I paired it with a Guerlain RA lipstick. It was from the Summer in the special black packaging that has a colorful neon top. I can't even remember the name but it's a pinky coral that goes perfectly with it.

Absolutely love both of these! Since we cannot order from the Chanel webpage here in Canada, I will have to wait to pick them up at the counter! Thanks so much for the pics!

I haven't been able to get to the store and swatch the lipsticks in person like I wanted. I think I'm just going to go for it and order L'Adoree, Melodieuse, and Fougueuse. I know they're colors I'm going to love. I guess I just wanted to make myself feel better about my hoarding and make it seem like I was trying to be more discerning.

I do think I still need to swatch La Diva in person, though. That shade of pink has the potential to look weird on me.

I'm glad you like Diva!
The blush colour is SO pretty, but I'm still scared of cream blushes, I'll stick to powder.

L'Eclatante is my only Chanel lipstick, but it is my favorite bright pink to date! And that is saying a lot, considering the gazzillion bright pink lippies I have from Mac!
