I don't like PC on me :-( I love instigator but PC its so black grape I CNT fig out how to wear it. I like dark lips but PC is not flattering on me.. Everyone looks so pretty in there pictures.

i had the same problem. PC pulled too blue on me so i topped it with maybelline fuchsia flash in the center. and instigator was too dark almost blackened burgundy so i added revlon berry haute on top. Eventually i want to get a lavender lipstick to mix but im trying maybelline pink pop next.

Last week, I realized my beloved stone lipliner was missing. I believe it dropped out of my purse. I was officially sick the whole night. The next day I called mac customer service line and order two!!! I also had them shipped overnight. I never want to be without that color. The thought of it makes me weak.
I know the feeling that happened with my Nightmoth liner...I was devastated cause I only had it a couple of weeks

Then My 14 year daughter bought me one with a gift card she got for Xmas it made me so happy.

I recently lost my Nightmoth liner too. I NEVER lose/misplace my cosmetics so I was really taken aback by it. After hunting and searching for it I had just go ahead and order another one. I CANNOT be without Nightmoth. I would've rather spent that money on another product though.

But the long engagement and long distance is killin me. You rocked it my dear, you just look lovely beyond words.

BTW, folks having trouble with patchiness, this helped: First, I primed with balm. (I think any will do, MAC P&P is my HG, but I had the Fresh one handy, so its what I used, I am sure petroleum jelly or olive oil works fine too.) Don't press hard, use a light hand. Build up if you need too. No patchiness at all for me, I used Instigator today. I even wore it to work, cuz F em if they can't take a joke here, I am wearing purple today, folks. No patchiness on me at all. Also, on these mattes, I notice if I keep them in my pocket (or in my bra if I don't have a pocket, sorry if that's TMI) and they warm up a little, no patchiness. Even with those super dry Retromattes, warming up helps immensely with application.

HTH someone
Alas, what can we do? Father blatantly refuses to marry me off unless the suitor produces a dowry of my weight in gold (24kt, thank you) and mother has made it her life's purpose to fatten me up since she heard the news. So unless we pull a Bonnie and Clyde our paths shall not cross

I must be the odd one out but none of my PC lippies gave me any grief (dunno about Hautecore, as I don't have it). I applied them like I apply any other lippie, matte or not - a generous coat of Prep&Prime lip, wait a few minutes for it to set, line the lips, slather the sucker on and go over the edges with a lip brush to make them more precise). I never smoosh my lips together when I apply lipstick, so maybe that helped too

That said, I do agree that PC and I feel a bit stiffer than MAC's regular mattes. But not as much as say, FOF or RRB. SK behaved like your average matte.

Drama is very much expected from a forum full of women. I've learned that over the years. Really is inevitable and I just watch with my popcorn from the sidelines. Besides, the resellers here sell mainly at $22 rather than $40-80 on ebay and IG. I think its quite reasonable.
True. I am like that too!

But sometimes it's like really? lol I'm not mad at the resellers here because you are right, most of them are reasonable. And most of the time it appears to be their backups and things that just didn't work for them.

I don't think anyone is shading our members who sell here in the CB the prices they sell at I agree are pretty reasonable.

The thing is, there are only so many colors in the world. They're bound to do very similar shades, if not the exact same. We just need to make sure we're paying attention to our own collections and refrain from buying colors that look the same as ones we already have (that's if you mind having 2 of the same shade).

on me they are totally different cos sk pulls a burgundy wine color which was what i wanted fod to pull on me which it did on others, but fod pulled a brown on me. i doubt that happens cos no 2 mac lippies are a dupe they might be close but never a dupe
