It is my favorite item in the whole collection. It is a beautiful mauvey plum on my pigmented lips. I top it with wild rose gloss and it wears quite well.

Her review sold me on this too. I'm willing to take my chances with a cream shadow because this one is so damn beautiful. So far, I'm interested most in Chamade blush and Diapason... I'm trying to avoid being tempted by lipsticks, because I already have too many.

I was at the counter again and nearly bought La Diva. The SA was wearing it with the liner and looked very pretty. It wasn't that shocking bright, just a brightening statement pink lips. She paired it with Narcisse jc. I was tempted to get Fougueuse too. My counter didnt get the eyeshadow duo. I dont understand why chanel is not selling the duos here, all the perms had been removed last year. Did anyone get Diapason IdO? Finally made it to the Chanel counter today! Ended up with Fougueuse, La Diva, Intonation, and Tapage (I definitely do not need another red Chanel nail polish, but I couldn't resist!). I am really psyched for both lipsticks, and thank goodness Fouguese is at least permanent! Thanks again for the pics elegant-one! This will be my first time using one of Chanel's hybrid blushes (kinda hybrid?) and I am really excited to try it!

Finally made it to the Chanel counter today! Ended up with Fougueuse, La Diva, Intonation, and Tapage (I definitely do not need another red Chanel nail polish, but I couldn't resist!). I am really psyched for both lipsticks, and thank goodness Fouguese is at least permanent! Thanks again for the pics elegant-one! This will be my first time using one of Chanel's hybrid blushes (kinda hybrid?) and I am really excited to try it!

That's what I thought the day of my 25th birthdays ... Which happened in the 20th century Here in Italy the spring collection is still yet to come and that's good since I'm enjoing the holiday collection so much. I'll grab for sure the polishes and fouggy RA plus sonate gloss. But I think I'll ended up with the eye palette and the idos, they look so classy and chic!

I think maybe the reason that there hasn't been as much written about the powder here is because a number of people found it similar to the highlight powder that was released with last Spring's collection. I don't know if there's enough difference to warrant owning both, unless you really love your highlighters, but if you don't have the previous one, I find that these Chanel powders give an incredible radiance to the face. I still wear mine frequently and I absolutely love it.

I want a pressed powder precisely with pink tints.

Preface and the Poudre Signee de Chanel are nothing alike. Preface is a pinky-beige MATTE face powder. Far more pink than the 20 Clair shade in the formula. It does not have any shimmer like the Jasmine shade released 2 years ago. A good powder to either set your foundation or to powder any "shine".

Why no powder with shimmer nowadays? That sucks.

Here is a photo of Preface & Rosée... They aren't dupes at all.... The most similar in effect to Rosée (on the skin) is the Les Beiges N[COLOR=444444]°10.[/COLOR] Is rosee till available cuz i wasnt able to find it in Canada. [COLOR=444444]In color I'd compare Preface to Les Beiges N°10, but slightly pinker. Preface doesn't have any shimmer. It's a mattifying finishing powder.[/COLOR]

But does it do the job well?

Thanks for the info! I was thinking it might be similar to Les Beiges, but I was really hoping it might have a bit of shimmer. What a shame.
