Yay, you finally got them! ^^
No, I have few cream shadows from Chanel and never once were shrunken.
Oh well, when did you buy them?
The ones I got around 2 years ago (when they were first released) are all shrunken and need some water to get going.

I just used illusiore this morning and it is still in perfect condition. i don't remember how old it is exactly but I bought it when they first cam out. I wonder if it's just hit and miss. Mine have all been good. I love the colors, the issue I have with them is that no matter what my application process is I can never get them to go on perfectly evenly.

I got my order just now and I love it! Intotation is very pretty and pigmented, but I will definitely need to try it with a brush tomorrow so I can blend it in better. Melodieuse and L'Adoree are both lovely too. I always love getting new lipsticks! L'Adoree suits me perfectly

I took the plunge and made my first purchases of Chanel's cream blush- Chamade- and my very first Illusion d'Ombre- Diapasion. After hearing the horror stories, I checked my Diapasion right away and I'm happy to report it's springy like a happy little sponge. Or like this guy:

I had to convince myself not to buy the duo, but I may still go back for it.

What's strange is that I only noticed today that we got the US formula quad. Apparently we've been switched over and are no longer getting baked formulas. In fact, it looks like all the quads will be replaced with the US formula in March. My MUA was super-happy about this- I get the feeling I'm not the only person who's mentioned her preference for the US formula. No word on whether or not the Joues Contrastes blushes will change as well, but I find the difference much more extreme with the shadows than with the blushes.

I have the GA ETK, MUFE and Chanel cream gel es from past collex -- they are fine. Seems a glitch of some sort in the mfg of these gel based es. In all cases, it is not right that they should ship a product which has essentially dried up. There is no reason to hold these upside down, rightside up or anything else -- they are cosmetics not babies.

Yay on getting Diapason and your first cream blush! My hands are itching to buy Diapason. This time all the quads are square ones, my counter got them too. I hope we are all getting the non-baked JCs and quads from now on, is it a worldwide switch?

Called nordies today, the girl tried telling me that the illusion d'ombres were fine and it probably happen in transit, oh and it will be the same thing if she sends a new one. When I insisted she sent a new one, she told me they would have to charge my card again and only refund me when they received they received the return. I'm not happy with having my funds held up for no reason, so I told her not to bother. Is that standard practice? On the bright side, I commented about that on fb, and they had a manager called me and apologize, and they'll sent me new ones at no charge and I could send mine back in 30 days. I hope I would never have to contact multiple ppl to get accurate service again as I love nordies and spend a good portion of my money there.

Yes, actually that is standard practice with online dept store returns, lol. And don't be surprised if you do get another hockey puck. In all, I ordered Initiation 3 times and got 3 hockey pucks. There is either something wrong with the manufacturing process, formula or quality control for the IdOs, or they get made too early and many of them have started to dry up by the time a collection is released. Mine was intended as a Christmas gift for a friend and I ended up just giving up on the idea because I felt none of them was presentable.

I went to swatch the collection today, but unfortunately I'm not able to purchase anything until payday next week. The parfumery where I was able to swatch the collection is able to hold a couple things for me until monday luckily. They are holding two Sonic Pink lipliners. La Diva RAV and Diapason IDO. I did however want a lot more, so I went looking for another place that could hold them for me. In a town close to my parents they have a nice perfumery too and I looked up their phone number. I noticed on their site that someone from Chanel would visit them and give makeup advise. You could call to reserves, so I figured that would be perfect and they would probably hold some items for me. So I called and made an appointment for next friday and they will indeed hold the rest of the items I want! They are holding another La Diva RAV, L'Adorée RAV, Fougeuese RA, both blushes, the quad, and Impulsion IDO. So that's a gigantic list, but I couldn't help it I love this collection so much! I'm really looking forward to the appointment. I'm also very happy this quad is in the US formula. I was told however that the permanent baked quads are not going to be replaced.

That's it then, never buying idO online again, I will call a counter and personally asked the SA to checked before she ships it. I can't fathom having money on hold unless I'm the one that wants a different shade or size etc

I finally decided to splurge on this collection.... I may go back for more but until then, I'm enjoying my new goodies. Surprisingly, this collection hasn't been selling out like previous collections.. I ended up grabbing two lipsticks; La Diva and Melodieuse and the blush Chamade. I love Melodieuse and Chamade, they're gorgeous! The SA talked me into getting La Diva even though it's really cool toned and I don't normally wear cool toned makeup but it's quite pretty! I've been hmm-ing and hah-ing over the palette and IDOs.... decisions, decisions....

It's weird, how can they dry in a couple of months? My idos are a couple of years old and still look perfect

mine too.. in fact all of mine do and I don't do anything special to store them. They should last for years without drying up so I suspect something on the mfg level has gone wrong -- and the mfgs who work these types of products are usually in Italy.. where anything can go wrong.

I tried Intonation with a stippling brush just now, and I'm in love. This is a much better method for me when it comes to applying creme blushes. I'm very tempted to go back for Charmade since I know I can use the brush to control the level of intensity

I love it! I just tried it on for part of the day, so I can't swear to the lasting power, but dang, that little pot has some power. I need so little that I'm probably going to be buried with it still half finished.

Well, I wore Diapason today and it went pretty well. Great lasting power, definitely. There's been some work happening on the air system in our office, which has stirred up some dust and that, in turn, has left me with a slightly irritated left eye. Diapason made that eye a wee bit itchy at first, but then it went away (the itchiness, not the eye) and all has been fine for the rest of the day.
