Chanel Spring 2014

Beautiful! I can't wait to get Diapason. The colour is so unique and pretty. I'm also loving the Chanel cream blushes. They are so much nicer than the Mac cremeblends which are the only other cream blushes I ever tried.
I was taking some swatch photos for my blog and I had to admit that it wasn't even worth my while to do comparisons with other shadows, because I simply have nothing that even approximates it.

I'd tried cream blushes in the past, but they simply never worked that well on me. They were always either patchy, or wore off quickly, or (more often) both. Even formulas that worked well for others seemed lost on me. Dior's limited edition cream blushes last summer were the first ones that ever worked for me. Unfortunately, I only got one before my counters sold out. I wish they'd made them permanent. I like the texture of the Chanel cream blushes even more than the Dior and so far, so good for Chamade surviving on my skin.

Thank you! There are actually three shades there (plus a highlighter) at work there. Diapason is on the outside. In the centre is the new Dior matte cream shadow "Celeste". It's a super-light, icy lavender and I've fallen in love with it as well. On the inner corners of my eyes, I added Armani's Eyes to Kill shadow "Violet Scarab" to brighten things a little.

Hi Kate, if you are still looking for Dior cream blushes, Bikini and Panama are still available on the Bay online:)

I suspected the presence of dior's celeste , it makes A wonderdul duo with diappy. After reding so many good reviews about the blushes I'll have to give them a try.

On the bright side, I commented about that on fb, and they had a manager called me and apologize, and they'll sent me new ones at no charge and I could send mine back in 30 days. I hope I would never have to contact multiple ppl to get accurate service again as I love nordies and spend a good portion of my money there.
lol.. sometimes the stick works better than the carrot! told ya... ha

of course they can send you the new one at no charge just have to show them who's boss!

enjoy

Elegant-one, do u usually apply the cream blushes over or under your foundation?

I am not Elegant, but I apply cream blushes under and over foundations -- depends on the foundation really.

i.e with Chanel Vitalumiere I use it under, with Dior Forever, I apply on top. With any heavier cream foundation I apply on top also then seal with a light light dusting of a similar color powder.

THANK YOU! I'll probably order both, but I at least need Bikini. Which seems strange to say as I'm looking out at light snowfall and -16 Celsius right now.

Wearing Diapason (again) and giving Chamade its first official run. I used my trusty Mac 188 and it applied beautifully. I even layered it. That brush was made for these types of blushes, I swear. This morning, I had a little wateriness in the corner of my left eye when i first applied Diapason, but it's been absolutely fine since. Is it possible that I could be converted into a cream product girl? I feel like Chanel and Dior are combining to wean me from my purely powdery ways...

Here's a look at what I did today, Diapsaon on the outer third of my lids and blended into the crease.

katred - Gorgeous! Happy to know you have no bad reactions to Diapason. I have Violet Scarab and a matte icy lavender powder eyeshadow from shu and so I'm just missing Diapason. The shu is a bit of the dirty white though, its hard to get the true colour. I'm also a cream product convert since last year, before that I found them hard to work with. I only have Bikini among the Dior cream blushes. Mac 188 works amazingly with all the cream blushes I have, love it! Much better than my own fingers, lol. What are you wearing on your lips?

Does anyone have a daylight swatch of L'adoree on their lips? Do you think it would suit a pale NC15 blonde? It looks like such a lovely shade, I thought it would be a perfect darker lippie for my skin, but there's a lack of swatches online and I can't decide.

Yes it's nice that at least one of the two is permanent. When will it launch where you are?
I'm hoping this Thursday/Friday but I really don't know. I've seen Guerlain and Dior pop up on all the regular beauty sites but there's nothing on Chanel. I'll have to ask this week when I'm shopping.I would have thought the UK got it when Europe did (unless they don't have it everywhere yet).

Most of the time the UK gets it first in Europe. Definitely ask around.
