I tried over and under. Over was better.
LibaaaaaaaaaaaaaaThe fact that the glorious HerGreyness is here in this thread getting all excited is the ultimate proof of how good these are!Make no mistake about it!
I'm here to anti-enable you a little bit.I found OFP preferable to LB, because it's a softer color, which just seems more suitable in this formula. They make your lips so soft and plush, keeping it really natural was my first favorite preference for colors, and going deep and stained glass was second. The bright pinks and corals in this collection are very cute, but maybe the least desirable with this finish - I think I like my bright cutesy colors in matte or satin best. Your mileage may vary, but trying them all on, I felt the brights were the ones that fought with my face the most and felt most dupable. WF was in that category too, just because something like Playtime or Pink Popcorn is so similar and also has a similar texture, but if you do superbly in lavender pinks, it might be a bigger deal than LB. Meanwhile, OFP is so amazing - makes my eyes pop like crazy and is just a perfect pink for a gal that has to be pretty picky about pink!
I think the most perfect colors in this collection in terms of color plus texture plus overall effect are Touché, F&F, OFP and Rich Marron (especially if you have darker skin and are looking for perfect nudes). These are cannot miss, daytime, nighttime, any time colors for all year 'round. Commotion is the best of the rest, and while all the reds are great, they're not universal reds for everyone…one or two might be much better than the others - on me Rusty was the winner.
If you had BU's of Venus, Morning Rose would have been less critical for sure. Personally, I love MR better than Venus, just because it's just that hair more subdued and greyed out, which works with my skin and age best. Venus is still awesome, but on me does best on perfect skin days and also when I'm at my palest. Brave definitely does what Venus does - I like the color a teeny bit better than Venus, but I like Venus's texture better. I think either of them probably would look better on you than MR, because you can carry a little brighter and cuter pink just in general! If I had to pick one or the other I'd totally go with OFP instead of MR, so there's that too!!
Smart move to just skip the liner and all the extra rigamarole with the Huggables - all you need are clean lips and a light swipe and in a minute when they warm up and set, you have maximum perfect lips!
I WISH Cherry Glaze had been a better red for me - it just wasn't quite right and I resisted mightily. I DID fail at resisting Red Necessity, which isn't a perfect red on me either, but at least that one bumps up a notch when I use a little of my more brownish MSFs like Rio, Scene to Be Seen and Goldstone or blushes like Equilibrium, Lavish Living and Exotic Ember.
I cannot stop ogling my lips when I wear any of these either. I don't think I'm vain normally, but the Huggables are definitely making me much more so!
Well, to switch from anti-enabler to enabler, Commotion is awesome exactly because it's in that mega-flattering and nifty color family - if you love that shade on you, Commotion is special and stands out from the crowd because of the amazing unique finish!
Wow, love OFP on you!!!! I was getting used to seeing you in the Punk Couture colors, but this one really hits it out of the park on you! You're going to love Rich Marron too for sure!
So far, I've found they act a little weird and get crumbly when put on top of anything other than bare lips. Even if I had a little balm residue, they wouldn't set up as smoothly or evenly. Please report!
For you particularly, I'd say Touché if you had to narrow it down to a single, do-everything color.
Hi!!! Here I am!!!!Do you already have Runway Hit? It's a lipstick that looks different on different lip colors, so my guess would be whatever shade you personally get with Runway Hit, you'd get the Huggable equivalent with F&F. If you don't have RH, FF is quite a bit brighter than F&F, without the more beige tones mixed in, so there's a possibility that instead of looking more subdued on you, FF would actually pull even brighter and redder/coral when blending with your lip color, since the deep background of your lips could set off that brightness and give you a more jewel-toned color. If you want a subtle peach nude, I don't think F&F will be too light and if anything, your lip color will make it look less peach and more pink nude - you may get a very MLBB color out of it. As an example, I've got very red lips and Touché winds up pulling pink nude on me, even though it looks beige in the tube - the redness in my lips cancels out some of the brown. 'Same thing will happen with F&F for you. For the record, RH isn't a super bright peach on me - it's more of a peach nude with just a little brightness.
For you particularly, I'd say Touché if you had to narrow it down to a single, do-everything color.
Thank you both so much! I'm on a low-buy this year and lipsticks are the biggest problem as I have quite a lot that I bought in a short amount of time! I don't have that many MLBB or wearable daily colours so both suggestions sound great! I hope I can try the formula first to see if I like it, I have a problem with quite a few lipstick formulas (they leave a line where my lips meet) and as we can't return here in Spain I'm stuck with a lot of lipsticks that aren't useable!I was only going to get 1, and I chose OFP. I loved it SO much I let myself get 1 more because the formula is so unique. I picked up Rusty 2nd time around. I won't get it until Monday. I would definitely try OFP if you're only getting one. It's a great everyday shade, but it's got enough brightness to it to make it special.
Lol I only forgot because I had a stack of stuff on the counter already ! Luckily I had a gift card and notes from Nordstrom :-D I really don't need anything else ...I will keep repeating that.I wish I could forget about it! UGH! Save that money girl!
Have you tried Sisley Oil Free Foundation in 0 Porcelain? It's the only foundation that doesn't leave me with a ghastly face-neck colour mismatch. The lightest foundation shades are always too pink for me. In the past month or so I tried several other foundations but none of them did the trick. Now that I finished my last sample I can open a new Sisley bottle. It doesn't do much in the way of coverage (light/medium) but it evens out the skin beautifully. It does have a floral scent, but it's not very pronounced and it wears off very quickly. It is! It's totally frustrating - see above. My foundation shade is always discontinued, no one carries anything light enough.
Thanks everyone for the well wishes! Love you all!Libaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
so sorry to hear of your troubles -- get well soon in all senses.

I have the RH -- gonna experiment a bit as I am still a work in progress.
don't stress about men -- they are wearing themselves out to extinction very soon
