That's probably how the girl that sued MAC ended up with herpes. People are nasty.I went to swatch these yesterday in person at the MAC store...and the lipstick tester was missing from the display. I asked the SA if it was sold out and she said no and called out to another SA WHO WAS USING IT STRAIGHT FROM THE TUBE!!!
Mind you it was 5pm in the evening, so I'm sure it wasn't a fresh tester. Sure enough when she handed it to me, it was half used already. Then I opened the lipglass and the brush was still attached...
At this point I was completely grossed out, so I left and went and bought it at a Macy's counter. Good grief.
You look great! I need to see more women of color wearing RiriVG. SO far I have seen a couple and @macgirl006 is close to my shade so I know I would look awesome! How many of you ladies can wear any shade of red? From oxblood red to corally pink red? I can rock all shades of it (thank goodness) the colors I wish I could get away with are barbie pink and black. :[

I have never used lipstick straight from the tube. I just cringe whenever I see it out sitting there catching dust and people talking over it. I'm not a germaphobe but there are things I draw a line on. Plus I heard a lot of horror stories about some MAC artist. I've never personally...but she didn't even offer to sanitize. Just rolled her eyes and handed it to me! She was putting on her entire face, so I guess I interrupted her.
*rant over* Anywho, it's really a gorgeous color! And it really comes alive with the gloss on top! The packaging is really nice too! It felt all velvety in my hands.

OH MY GOD.I did not know that. omg. I used to go to that mall all the time as a teenager.Ewwww. No, no, no. Now I know to avoid that MAC at all costs. Damn.

it looked warm in my bathroom but thankfully looked cooler when I got it into natural light. Some people have been saying it's a tomato red, but I think it's more cherry red on me. I'm definitely eyeing the lip glass next!

Just plucked both the Lipstick and Lipglass from the little black box. I am honestly just staring at them. I feel a little intimidated even though they are so GORGEOUS. These are my first reds…..ever.

I agree people are nasty! I only swatch samples but even in sanitized they don't go on my face. I don't think the girl won the case. She said she got in at one of Rihanna's concerts, but the herpes virus doesn't show up overnight or take days. It takes like six months just to show signs. It was just a ploy to make money . But I know the artist wasn't sanitizing correctly or something.
