I'm not happy with Sephora today. I sent three items back in a return, and in the confirmation e-mail, they only listed and gave me a refund for two of them, with no mention of the third I sent. I hope I can still get my full refund.

Ah I need to vent/share/get your guys' thoughts.
Today, I returned a lipstick that I had purchased in the fall of this year. Well, I was actually exchanging it for another lip product. And I had the receipt, and I've probably tried the lipstick on three times. The color just did nothing for me. Anyways, the girl and the manager both kind of gave me the side-eye and asked me what was the reason for the "late return"? My answer was - I buy a lot of make-up. (things get neglected easily, especially if you aren't feeling the color!). Honestly though, I had the receipt and sephora, as far as a I know, doesn't have a time limit on exchanges/returns. I didn't get why they were giving me a hard time, because you can exchange a product WITHOUT a receipt, and then they don't know whether you bought it last week, or 1 year ago! They basically said they would let me do it this time, but that they/other stores could refuse the return. I just left feeling like a criminal? Or like I had gotten a slap on the wrist? I'm "VIB ROUGE" so I spend a LOT of money there. Sephora has a generous return policy, which I very rarely even put to use. By why should I leave feeling bad, because I returned an item several months after buying it, hardly used, and accompanied by the receipt? Anyways, let me know what you guys think. I went to MAC after, and felt much better

kait0 i totally understand ur gripe becuz they do that to me sometimes too but guess what...i didnt get to be a VIBR overnight and feel like whether i return stuff once a week or once a year its NOT comin out of their pocket. i know a while ago one assoc said they'd prefer the return go back to which ever sephora it came from to count against that particular store but i meeean sometimes i dnt have time for all that. i use to feel bad returning stuff which is why i rather swatch and research into it before i buy but sometimes shyt happens n it doesnt turn out to be the product u thought it was. each sephora is real picky about certain things so to avoid the hassle...just return wit no receipt!!

Thank you, I hope so too. I'll either get it or shop nearly exclusively at Nordstrom's. Sephora almost never has perks I want anymore, so the only thing keeping me loyal is the 20 % off sales.

Oh my gosh you are going to LOVE it. I use it after cleansing and it removes any remaining makeup and leaves my skin feeling so great. I also love using it on my eyes when I have a really smokey look going - it doesn't irritate at all. I got 3 mini bottles off HauteLook this past fall for a great discount. I'm hoping they have it on there again soon so that I can get it at the cut rate before I run out.

Yeah normally I do that (not that I keep the receipt for that long)... unless the product dropped in price since I bought it. If you don;t have the receipt, sephora will give you back the last known price of that item. Sorry about your experience. I have a couple of items to return as well and I'm dreading it as well....

It did take ages to sell out. I used it on Thursday to get a couple of Clinique staples and I was surprised that it still worked.
