A few questions! How long does Sephora keep "limited edition" items around for? I want to get the Bite lipstick duo and the BareMinerals eyecolor duo for the BI sale but they both say LE and aren't available in any stores near me. I don't want to risk them disappearing. Second, when do they stock new products? If it's at the start of the month that's even more reason to wait for the sale. And do they ever do codes for lower free shipping minimums? In Canada you have to spend $75 for free shipping which is why I'm strategizing when to order lol
Honestly it can be a total crap shoot on how long they keep LE items...usually it's just until they sell out, which depends on the popularity of the product. And sometimes they may get re-stock of LE items, but it all depends. As far as stocking new items, usually they update the site on Monday nights I think, Tuesday is when I see a lot of new stuff go up, but really they might re-stock something as soon as they get it. As far as codes for lower shipping, I haven't seen too often, I wouldn't count on one any time soon since a sale is coming up. Since the BI sale is coming up in just under 2 weeks you are *probably* safe waiting, but order right away as soon as the sale starts. I don't think the items you are looking at will sell out too quickly. Hope that helps.

I believe LE is until it's sold out. The only time I recall getting free shipping without having to reach the minimum is once a year when I re-qualify for VIB. I wonder if there will be a perk for re-qualifying for Rouge.

Just a heads up for all the lovely VIB Rouge on Specktra - the VIB Rouge event registration is NOW LIVE! I posted the details on the Rouge forum. http://community.sephora.com/t5/VIB-ROUGE/VIB-Rouge-Event-Registration-is-NOW-LIVE/td-p/1280242

Good luck :)

Registered thank you!!

My list right now is pretty small. MFU double ended brush, Naked 3, one nail polish and maybe the brow bar.

So I went to sephora and asked about the Rouge event. Yes the store is having it but the rep said it was just a shopping event with small eateries. The samples and mini bag that were advertised look nice but I don't see this as a big deal. :( Sounds exactly like the VIB night before the November VIB/BI discount days. The rep also said people who don't RSVP will be allowed to enjoy the event as well, so RSVP is more to estimate how many people will come, not mandatory.

Thank you for sharing the RSVP link, I didn't get any email about it yet.

I'm trying to keep my list small - just the things I really want now. The rest will have to wait until the Oct/Nov VIB sale.

My list has been whittled down substantially thanks to shopping binge at the Nordstrom trend show (Nars had a phenomenal gift with purchase that it was worth not waiting on the sephora sale): MUFE Pro-finish in 174 (I love this stuff) MUFE HD blush in tangerine Korres anti-aging primer (love this too) Laura Mercier radiance/ bronzer primer (will depend on how I like the sample) Nars gel eyeshadow/base (maybe) Sephora blush brush for my daughter At least one lipstick though I'm unsure of what it will be

Oh yeah, I forgot to say that one of the SAs at my local sephora said that I could call in on Wednesday to put the HD blush on hold until Sunday. Perhaps that's an option for those who are afraid that the items they want will sell out?

Ok, so this event is for 15% off during the event. THe store I am going to (The one I can access by public transit which does not run well on Sunday ams) I think will be out of a product I want. They took one of the gel polishes off the site, but I have seen it in a store. Will the 15% be all day, or will I be going back during the 'regular' event? Also, what talk is there of an online code for online orders? (And will it be stackable with other codes, I hope so!!).

A tip to get more points is to take friends and family who rarely purchase cosmetics but want something at a time. Since you're there they can purchase on your insider card and you get the points.

The free gift had 2 nail polishes (Tokaido express and Galatheé), luminous moisture cream, via veneto eye pencil, deep throat blush and gold digger lip gloss.
Wow! That sounds great. I just came back from Nordies and they had more stuff in the store GWP than listed in the online GWP. The store's GWP included 2 nail polishes in addition to the stuff listed in the online GWP. The SA was going to give it to me but they were out of 2 of the 3 items that I wanted. I wanted a lipstick and a eyeshadow duo. The SA said she couldn't find it in stock anywhere online included and suggested I get it from Sephora. LOL. I decided not to get the lipstick that she could order but I did get the blush. So no GWP for me. Well when I got home, I see the eyeshadow duo is on backorder so I may just order it but I won't get the better GWP they had in store. Oh well.

I am wondering about the same about online orders too! I don't live nearly close to any Sephora and even though I RSVP to one (1.5 hours away), I'd much prefer to do an online order even with the new duty charges.
