I wore this foundation for roughly 3 hours tonight without powder on my normal/dry skin and here are my takeaways: Holy crap it makes my skin look good! I love the finish. It's truly velvety. Like, I kept touching my face because it looked so smooth. I am the darkest color, B70. It's a true match. It covers nothing! I was under the impression it was a medium coverage, granted I didn't look into that. I am fine with foundations not covering much and I don't care if my little blemishes show, but I can always add concealer. I did add concealer and then it was absolute perfection. The foundation evens out my skin, like other sheer foundations I have but the difference is the finish. My skin didn't feel dry or tight. I sometimes have to work hard to get a foundation to not cake up on my nose, but not this one. It's a bit runny, but not too much. It didn't slide off my hand while I worked on my face. The color gets a tiny bit darker. I noticed when I swatched it today that immediately putting it on my skin I couldn't see it, but after a minute or so I could see the difference from where I had it on. On my face, my jaw is darker than the center of my face (just like many WOC) and I thought it looked a little white on that area. After a minute, when it dried it blended in perfectly. What a relief. So, in conclusion I love this stuff from my short trial. Definitely recommend it if you don't mind sheer coverage or you're willing to add concealer. Dry skin, don't be afraid. Like, I said before if you're darker than me (MUFE HD 173, Mac I don't have a true shade but I am closest to NC45 which is too dark for the center of my face), unfortunately, there's no color for you. I just wish that since this is replacing my Perfection Lumiere that it gave me the same coverage as that one.
