Well, I did it.  I ordered PLV and I'm looking forward to trying it out.  While ordering it I accidentally ordered another YSL Baby Doll Kiss & Blush I am so, so smitten with them.
Yay! :cheer: I've been looking forward to that YSL product since I first saw it on Nordstroms website. Last week, my Nordstroms didn't have it in store (Even though the store locator said it was there :getyou:). I'll be looking again next week. I really want to swatch them first because I can't decide on a color. It's not like I need any of them, but I want to try the product.

You're my foundation selection guru Shontay!
So about the Baby Doll Kiss & Blush---I've ordered 4 of them in toto. Every time I look at them online I see another color that I want.
In a word---they are AMAZING!

See bottom of page 1 & page 2 for more of my obnoxious raves about K & Bs http://www.specktra.net/t/187899/tory-burch-beauty

So, in conclusion I love this stuff from my short trial. Definitely recommend it if you don't mind sheer coverage or you're willing to add concealer. Dry skin, don't be afraid. Like, I said before if you're darker than me (MUFE HD 173, Mac I don't have a true shade but I am closest to NC45 which is too dark for the center of my face), unfortunately, there's no color for you. I just wish that since this is replacing my Perfection Lumiere that it gave me the same coverage as that one.
I'm a 170 - 173 MUFE HD foundation.. I have really wanted to try out Chanel foundations but kept thinking that I wouldn't find a match. Are you the same shade in VLA and do you prefer VLA or the PLV? I hope the shade that worked for you will work for me..

When I asked a mua that worked the chanel counter in bloomingdales awhile back she said they didn't have any foundations for me. That was before perfection lumiere. I don't think this foundation runs the same but I can see about that Monday or Tuesday.

Yea that would be interesting.. I've always wanted to try out VLA but didn't think they had my shade (and also because I have combination oily skin). I had assumed the same about PLV (based on a youtube review) until i saw your post.. I will definitely be hitting my local Chanel counters soon to see if B70 works for me..

I got a sample of this today & I absolutely LOVE it!

Its extremely light weight, makes my skin look flawless, it was a perfect match for my skin. The texture is silky velvet! Its more matte-ish than dewy but not dry at all. The smell is that same beautiful smell that we loved in the les beiges cream colored compact. It gives pretty good coverage for how skin-like light weight that it is.

I was just going to buy the Dior Nude foundation until I tried this which I think tops it.

Its close, but I think that the LB & this is just a tad more beautiful/noticeable but not obnoxious, I loved the VLA, but this is so velvety silky soft! I love how light weight it feels on

Just a quick update.. B70 is available in VLA as listed on the Chanel website however It's not on Nordstorm. Maybe Bloomingdales doesn't have it either..

I'm so glad you had a good experience with this. I ordered it and hope I love it too. Just based on what I'm hearing, I think it will be great for summer.

It's interesting that the department stores don't have it. I checked Saks & Neiman's and neither seem to have it.
I don't mind that it's not in the department stores because I do order from Chanel.com quite often. Thanks for bringing
this to our attention.

It might not be online, but does that mean it's not in stores? I have found things in department stores that aren't on their website. Has the product been discontinued?

Do you think this formula runs lighter or pinker than the PL? I'm a B40 in PL and I ordered B50 PLV since B40 looks way too light in swatches. I hope the color fits me. I imagine Nordstrom won't ship it til' Monday. Btw, Thank You so much for your review. I appreciate it.

You're welcome. I just swatched both on my hand and PLV is definitely lighter. I don't know if I'd say pinker, but it's definitely lighter. Also, the texture of it can help you get away with not having an exact match. It's easier to blend, I think. BTW, you gotta shake this stuff before use and when you open the top, the stuff is just bubbling out like a volcano. Add that to the cons. It's gross.

So true. Saks, in particular is pretty good about IDing items that are in-store only. That's not to say because it's not listed w/inventory that
doesn't mean that a counter might not have a few tucked away. I've found several limited edition & discontinued items that way.

Shontay you're created a cult following of this stuff it seems

I can't say that I'm thrilled to hear about the explosive emission upon opening, but if the product

works otherwise---at least we've been warned.
