Hubs is trying to watch the new Hobbit movie...I'm laughing & choking & snorting ...I cannot pay any attention to the movie

Ok true story---My doc referred me to an orthopedic surgeon. Hubs & I made an appt that same day and then checked him out online.
Turns out he has credentials as long as my arm & is tall and GOOD looking. The plan was that I would go to the appt alone cause hubs
had to work. After looking this guy up hubs decides he should accompany me to the appt. At the appt we completed all the sign-in crap and
were placed in an examining room. A short time passed and the doc opened the door, looked at me & backed out closing the door. Hubs &
I looked at each other & shrugged. Two minutes later the doc walked in, didn't introduce himself but had my chart in his hand and exclaimed,
"You're 60 years old!" The three of us laughed and he then introduced himself. He said I'm so sorry. I thought I had the wrong room or
the wrong chart. Well that made my day! I'm having surgery next Monday. Hubs will be by my side.

Thanks so much for your kind words -- just a torn rotator cuff-----but I'm pissed cause it's my wine glass & makeup hand!!!That is such a charming thing to have happen to you! YOU ARE SUCH a BEAUTIFUL woman inside & out! My prayers will be with you for you surgery love

I would have had it done yesterday but I had another appointment. It's a very painful condition and the rehab &
recovery are long. I'll be in a mobilizing sling for four weeks before I can even start PT. I won't be able to drive for
quite some time---my car has a manual transmission so it's quite inconvenient. Hubs is taking off work for several
weeks. I need to practice ordering online w/my left hand!! I had a similar tear of the left rotator cuff which I had
repaired 5 years ago. It was a full year before I had painless, full range of motion. Nevertheless, I view it this way,
it's something that can be remedied versus a more arduous &/or fatal problem. I'm truly blessed.
