OK! I THINK I can do it! I have been craving some beautiful Spring/Summer corals, so I was going to get TA. But you're right, I think I satisfied my lemming with the Sephora sale.
OCC Kimber, Bite Crush, and Bite Zinfandel are all different shades of orange/coral. And T lists Bite Crush as similar to TA.

Received my 2nd and final order from this sale yesterday with my beloved Bite Beauty Cassis lipstick and my 2 new Illamasqua nail varnishes. The moment I opened the box, I got a whiff of a strong odor. It only took me a couple of seconds to realize it was the smell of nail polish! So I opened one of them (Lament) and it looked fine. Opened the second one (Purity) and yup, there's a leak somewhere on that bottle because it was covered in nail polish! Thankfully it all stayed in the box and didn't leak onto any of my other products or anything, but I was sad! I emailed customer service right away and got an email back today saying they will send me a new one. I even included a picture of it so they could see how bad it was. I'm guessing I can just toss the broken one, right? I kept it (by itself in the brown Sephora box, all closed up again so the fumes don't make me feel sick) just in case they needed me to send the old one back, but they didn't mention returning the broken one to them in the email, so I'm good to throw it in the garbage, right?

Side note: I see some amazing hauls happening here, ladies!

Yesss! I got my Kat Von D Chrysalis palette in store. I tried a different store & the gal was actually nice enough to check the back for me (unlike at my usual store), I purchased that baby so fast! I actually don't really mind that the packaging is cardboard, yeah it's not a sturdy as something like the naked 3 but I like how environmentally friendly it is

Do NOT tell me if you love it. I've (almost) convinced myself that both KVD palettes are worthless! LOL

I thought I'd google what you ordered from them (stupid mistake, clearly.) and then I saw Bordeaux and died because I'm *still* trying to find that perfect shade for me. I never hop on bandwagons or trends of brands this quickly, but omg.. the colours. So beautiful.. and to think I don't even wear lipgloss.. I'm gonna try it. Oh I won't. The lipstick, lip treatment & 2 lip creams is enough for me. I'd never even HEARD of Bite Beauty until the past 48hrs. I had a funny feeling joining this convo would be bad. If you find my first post, I did say it would be bad for my low-buy. It's happened. I knew it would, lol. And the worst bit? 15% off doesn't even transfer to international customers of Sephora so I didn't even get that! I paid full damn price!

Ok I'm going to do some major anti-enabling. And then I'm going to possibly enable some just a little bit on something else... So hopefully I'm balancing this out.

After getting my taxes done I was feeling a little beaten, so I just went to LOOK at the JCPenny Sephora nearby. And I no longer have even the smallest lemming for either of the new KVD palettes. The cardboard is REALLY cheap looking. The colors look nice enough but seem to have a cheaper look to them, if that makes any sense. The one purple in the cool palette I was SUPER excited about looked like a messy glitterbomb. And the one shade I was most interested in the warm palette swatched a little dry and patchy. Overall, in person, very unimpressed. And VERY DUPABLE!
Feel so much better for not giving in to that purchase!

the purple one has been in my cart and I needed a reason not to get it. glitterbomb and cardboard packaging are 2 things i dislike most. I did some damage at Sephora but it's not much compared to my list of the new Dior and Chanel summer collections ughhh. i told hubby to just take the computer away now while he can or he's gonna have to build me shelving to hold it all LOL i'm so failing low buy (no guilt though). LOL

So I just have to say that I know I've been loving Bite Beauty for a while (it was one of the first brands I ever posted about once I joined Specktra), and out of curiosity I went over to the Bite Beauty thread to see how long I've been into them. That post was from Jan. 2013...I didn't even realize I'd been a Specktra member that long, lol! Time really flies and that kind of scares me! But yes, I admit I am in the club of people who wear a trenchcoat in a dark corner of the alley, going "psst! wanna try a Bite?" to unsuspecting victims as they walk by.

Seriously though. I can't believe I've been a member here for almost two years now. It doesn't feel like that long. Where did that time go???

I definitely DO feel hopeless sometimes... that's for sure! And you can joke with me anytime... I can take it! LOL
At least my Sephora haul is keeping me from buying Playland. Last year... I would've just bought all the things with no remorse or thought. If I can just get myself to consistently think, I'll be well on my road to "recovery!"
And I know what you're saying... time flies when you're a makeup addict having fun!

And no one "fails" low-buy. It's just a place to help re-organize your thinking and maybe even your makeup. Falling off the wagon... It happens to all of us.
