If the full size is a lifetime's supply, then 25% should hold you for quite awhile. Why not just start with these and see how you like them? I've made the mistake of liking a sample so much that I rush to get the full-size…and then never even finish the sample (I'm looking at you, Benefit Watt's Up).

That's happened to me with a few mascaras.

Shhh you're encouraging me to place that order! as if I didn't justify it enough to myself I learned they don't sell one of the products I want (Korres wild rose moisturizer) in Canada. *gets out wallet*

*looks at Benefit's They're Real* I'm noticing a theme here...

I find the guerlain sample kinda odd.

It says sample is Guerlain Perles du Paradis, which is their sold out Limited Edition. Sephora says they'll get more but I spoke to a Guerlain rep in Sephora and she said they're sold out everywhere. She was very sure Sephora won't be getting more.

So... why provide a sample for something that's sold out?

Sure the meteorite pearls are very similar to each other... but it just kinda struck me as odd.

p.s. I got the "Perles du Paradis" part by looking at http://www.sephora.com/meteorites-perles-du-paradise-deluxe-sample-P386366?skuId=1611045

The sample looks more like their regular meteorite balls in 02 Clair. Perles du Paradis looks like this:

I actually did that exact same thing with the same product!! Smh! The full size is still sitting there unopened.

Ahh you got it! Lol not gonna lie, in the show he's kinda dreamy..looking like the Beast after Belle breaks the curse. LOL but seriously, he's right up there with Arya and Dany in badass factor.
I can totally see that!! Never made the connection before, hahaha

P.S. I totally get your choice in username now

It's code "pearls" for a mini sample
Thanks to you ladies, I just spent nearly 2 hours browsing Sephora's site to see what I could get for $25 so I could get the Meteorites sample. I've been wanting to try them for a long time, but never wanted to shell out the cash to try it, especially since when I swatched it in store, it looked super glittery to me (as someone else mentioned). So a sample of it was too good to pass up! The reason I took so long to decide on what I wanted was because I was determined to spend exactly $25. I just spent more than I probably should have during the sale, so they are not getting a penny more out of me than necessary for me to get my Meteorites! Admittedly, I'm certain I could've made better use of those 2 hours...

really? Maybe you had a different type of meteorites? I've heard some of the limited edition ones were real sparkly. I have the regular face powder and get no sparkle. Hmm... I love the hourglass powder for the flawless-looking effect but I don't feel like the hourglass powder gives you the healthy color effect. So I use both.
Good info thanks! I'm going to try the hourglass powders again. The first time I didn't care for them. My oily skin turned into a greaseball. I can't remember if I noticed the effect.

Haha tell me about it. I did the EXACT same thing you were doing, except I went into the US site to figure out what was exactly $25USD and placed my order on the Canadian site. Ended up with the Bite Agave lip mask which was $26USD/$30CAD. What did you end up getting?

I also got the Buxom lip cream sample in mudslide! *Cross fingers* hopefully they don't replace the sample this time! I've been wanting to try their lip creams for awhile but was scared that it'd sting my lips.

Yay, I'm not alone!!

Since every piece of makeup I wanted was $22-$24 and I needed it to be $25, I ended up getting an eye makeup remover and a foot cream. I've been using the same eye makeup remover for years, and it's great, but I'm hoping for something that makes a little less mess and/or gets my mascara off a bit better. It does a good job, but I guess since the mascara is mostly on the opposite side of the lashes that I wipe when I'm closing my eyes to remove my makeup, it doesn't all come off very easily. I usually have to go in with a q-tip after and brush it against my lashes like I'm putting mascara on in order to get the rest of it off. So we'll see if this remover makes life any easier. And my feet have been aching like whoa from my job lately, and I used to have this awesome peppermint foot cream that really relaxed them, so I got the Bliss Foot Patrol to try. Hopefully it will be just as good! (If not, I might have to hunt down the kind I used to use. I think maybe Ulta still carries it, but I haven't seen it in a long long time).

I also got the Buxom sample! And the Meteorites sample, of course. I will be none too pleased if they replace that with something else!

I have the Bite Agave lip mask and looooove it. I didn't think I would like it at all when I felt the consistency on my finger (you can't apply this one directly from the tube...need a brush or finger to do it), but the moment it touched my lips, I knew it was meant to be! Hope you love it as much as I do

OMG!!! I think I mentioned that my Illamasqua nail varnish in Purity that I got during the sale arrived to me broken and leaking. Well today I received the replacement and was all excited. I went to open the box and paused because I thought I smelled nail polish. I figured I was just psyching myself out, but when I opened the brown box, I decided to open the nail varnish box anyway, just to be sure. Lo and behold, this one also has a crack in it somewhere because there's nail polish all over one side of the bottle and inside the box!

Never have I ever received any kind of makeup in the mail that was damaged, and now it's happened twice in a row with the same product. I'm beginning to think the universe does not want me to have this nail polish. I guess I'll contact Sephora tomorrow and ask for a refund, because I give up.

i was also tempted to get the Meteorites sample and I was all fine and dandy til the buxom mudslide sample was available too

anyways... i got the bite beauty lipstick in pepper. I've posted i wanted it for days but bought another instead. i really love them so it's worth it. plus it was $24 so I bought a hair tie for $2 too. well needed. I renewed my status already (so not cool for me) and I will get the hourglass palette which I wanted for some time and be done for a long time (well until the new Dior highlighters come out).
I could try to justify my spending but no excuses really. i'm off to finally cut the check to pay our taxes so i needed some kind of pick me up. nothing like last minute in hopes things changed LOL.

So not into MAC at all lately. I was so excited for all these collections and now it's all just 'ehh'. I'll stick with my Dior and Clinique. Clinique is a safer place, it's rare they get something new lol
