Yes Elegant I agree, it's THE perfect go-to red lipstick, not garish at all and classy. I also love the scent, it's very delicate I think. I am more a Diorific woman ( because they wear soooo long ) but the Dior lipstick is very good too, much more moisturizing than the Diorific formula. 999, again..... a must-have !

me too!

I am on my 2nd bu.. lol.. never finished the 1st tho because I had it stored upside down and I swore it was a 666..(satan).. so I bought it.

The old ones were love or hate I think. :)

The brushes are world apart to me :) The old one is fat, not flexible enough and not properly rounded. It looks like they just chopped off the corners. Pedi is out of question with that one. The old formula was too thick, I pulled out the Nuit last night that I bought only few months ago, the formula is useless. I'll need a lot of thinner to bring it back to life. I had Incognito, loved the colour but the formula got goopy after only one use. And it was like that with all of them. I got rid of some and stopped buying Dior even though I really loved the shades.

I'm happy they changed it but kept some shades. Perfect move imo. The new brush is the same as YSL and Lancome I think, I need to compare them. I need just one stroke with them, they fit my nails perfectly.

That's so awful that your Dior NPs went all goopy on you. I've never had any issues w/the Dior regular formula. I'm wearing the gel formula in Front Row. I've had it
on for 2 days now and every nail on my left hand is chipped. The right hand is perfect & looks like the nails are freshly painted. In defense of the NP, I can barely use
my right hand (my arm is in an immobilizer & sling) & I'm doing everything w/my left hand.

Do you know if Dior is maintaining their regular NP line with the new gel formula just becoming a part of the line & not necessarily replacing it?

I'm sitting here with my daughter and made her randomly open several bottles of my Diors and none are goopy---in fact perhaps just the opposite.
I'm thinking I'd better start using them before they start to go goopy on me.

One that is goopy and almost looks like it's evaporating is one of the bottles of my Dior Gel Top Coat. It's kind of old though. I guess that would be expected maybe????

I went past the Dior counter and I have have my eye on 4 permanent items which I quickly tested on my hands and was very impressed with.

I am interested in the Diorskin Nude Glowing Make Up and the matching powder compact. The formula apparently has 100% natural active ingredients.

Has anyone tried them?

I also am keen to get Rose Cherie Blush and Happy Cherry - they swatched so beautifully and were buildable. I must say, I prefer the look of the Dior compact blushes to Chanel's!

That's an added bonus

Miss Tania - I have not yet tried Dior foundation and finishing powder but I've heard good things about them.
As far as Dior blush goes, Rosy Glow awakening blush in Petal was my first Dior blush. I recently purchased
Coral Cruise from the permanent range and I'm VERY happy with it. I like the size & shape of the Dior compact
over the Chanel JC blush compact because it can accommodate a larger brush. Chanel has made an amazing
angled brush but I can't comfortably use it w/my JC compacts---they're too small. However, as far as the
product goes I remain partial to the JC formula.

Ms. Tania, I have tried most of the Dior Nude, Forever in liquid and powder foundations.. sadly all of these oxidize on me and usually leave an orange glow which I am not fond of. I am now using a CC cream which is lovely and light... so far no oxidation.

CD blush.. i have quite a few and love them for the texture and subtle colours... i have some older ones which might not be familiar to all as well as the PEtal and a few of the last editions. I too like the look of the Dior blushes but the compact can be heavy and cumbersome for toting around, imo.

I seem to remember that Cafe Makeup said the same about her old Gel tc. I try to use mine up quickly!

Hi MissTania!

I was an devotee of the old Dior Nude Foundation, I#m not that much of a fan of it now that it's reformulated. It doesn't oxidise on me like on HG, but for me it's not as nice as the new one. The MUA once tried the powder on me and I was quite impressed. If I didn't already own a plethora of powders I'd have bought it for sure!
Remember, though, that every company can claim that their ingredients are 'natural' - http://beautifulwithbrains.com/2014/04/18/top-misleading-cosmetic-claims/

It depends on the colour and finish. The crellys are all the same for me. Gris Trianon / Montaigne / Nirvana stayed the same from one year to the other. The ones with fragrance from two years ago are slightly thicker, so are most shimmers.

Dior top coat goes bad 3/4 in.
