Really? The lipsticks don't stay on me at ALL. I'd rather get my Lancôme ones.
I can't deal with the taste/scent of Lancome. NO WAY. It makes me super sick.

I work for Lancôme, and I will say that's the ONE thing I don't like about a lot of the products. Especially skincare. It's SO much scent. Lancôme is not one of my most favorite lines, but I get gratis twice a year so I get some things.

Me too.... I've been slowly switching some things. Mac is my love but I cheat on certain things like brushes I stopped getting Mac a while ago.. And as I learn about other things and learn about makeup and skin care I start looking into different things. I think I'm a Mac lover at heart but Mac makes it so difficult sometimes.

MACs weakness right now are the mineralized products. They are sub par.

MAC brushes.. some are good some not. depends where made.. but for the prices, there are many more selections.

skincare.. some good products, but again there are other brands with better and even less expensive treatments.

lipsticks.. still kicking.

the perm line is generally quite good.. although UD is kicking ass with it's ES.
Yup. I agree lipstick it's still to me, the best to come up with stuff and I'll be hoarding them for a while. I never used Mac for skin care tho, my skin care right now consists in washing my face w the clarisonic and mosturiZing it after lol. But I want to start looking into things now that I'm in my 30's and a lady and all that (pfft ok lol) Exploring skin care brands and things to improve my overall skin. And as I explore that I'm discovering other makeup lines and things that I really really like too.. And seriously, the perm stuff is way better than a lot of le stuff. I have discovered" so many products on the perm line that are just amazing. Perm blushes like blush baby or lipsticks like diva and smoked purple that are just staples and have a superb quality in my opi..

The only time I use the small concealer brush is when I'm applying concealer around my lips. Other then that, I feel as if I don't use it
you look quite young.. why concealer around lips? to change the shape, enhance? I don't do concealer around my lips.. they stick out enough

not true

I love the little tiny stipple brush and the big blender brush.. cheap and effective. If I lose one, it's not going to send me into spasms
I also like the 239 $1 dupe. I have bought those in bulk for single use and travel before. They pack on shadow pretty darn good for $1.

I am young. I conceal only to perfect the lip shape and clean up the lipstick when I use dark dark colors of lipsticks.

Oh goodness yes! UD rocks the ES world. I love a MAC lipstick but Chanel is my fav but the colors can't touch what MAC does when they do it right. I agree about the brushes too. A lot of people miss the perm items that are excellent from MAC. I have heard that sales on those is not what they should be. I have went in to get things like Fling or a perm lippy and have been told no one asks for those things. WTH?

yep people love what's the latest thing on you tube.. lol

MAC;s lippies don't compare to the Chanel quality.. when Chanel does a matte lip, it's matte -- non drying and elegantly packaged. Not comparable.
I don't even want to compare. I know there's Chanel and guerlain and Dior but I know that if I try anything and fall in love with a more expensive brand I will start switching everything to that brand. Lol. So I will continue to look the other way and pretend they don't exist lol

get an eye cream if you don't use it yet... 2x a day..

try oils.. for moisiturizing, they don't congest pores. All types of oils, it's a hit and miss. I am now using Boscia Tsubaki oil.. it's great. Skin smooth in a nano second, after the Clarisonic at night.

Completely this!!!

I love the moisture cream stuff for my face when I am in the desert. I use it before makeup and other stuff when I get up and before bed. I also keep Fix Plus with me. I love it even on no makeup days. My husband uses it after he shaves. It helps my sons eczema, without smelling bad, or being sticky on him. When he itches, I spray. I can't tell you all the things I use it for. Prep and Prime lip, and darn the Vibrancy eye stuff they DC'd. Grrr. FLING and did I say Fling...Yes the perm blushes are far better than most LE ones IMO as well.

no no

the idea is to find the right fit of product for you.. I love MAC ls.. and blushes. But I have many Chanel's and indie lines which are just as good. Dior has great blushes.. and if you look at ppg, of a blush, you will find it's not that much more than a MAC.

what I like about MAC blushes is that I can throw them into a good palette without having all those blue boxes.

I started using coconut oil and I'm liking it so far. I have been using cliniques eye cream here and there. I don't really need it yet but I don't want to wait to have to correct. What's a good one?

that's the idea.. prevent not correct. Skin starts to line when we are in our teens.. and then it gets worse with sun, tears, fears, and shit happening world.

I like Shiseido.. it's not cheap but not expensive either and it's excellent. Sets easily so you don't have it mess up your ES..

after using any creams in the am, spray with water to help prod sink in..

and at night spray same way

Taking notes*. The one thing I don't play is with skin care. It's the one thing I can drop a pretty penny and not even flinch. Good skin shower things, good moisturizers, good SPF. A decent exfoliator.. I'm going to look into shisheido. There's a store here in flushing Chinatown for a night cream and eye cream. And that eluage cream that I haven't heard of lol I gotta research lol

I do not think I could switch to just one brand. Chanel could never touch some of the items I love from MAC. At the same time I have had Dior blushes that I loathed how they blended and the wear time. Same thing with Dior and Chanel ES being crap, but pretty compacts but I do not like that. I like palletes where I can put my stuff in and not have 12 tiny ones out to do my whole face. Then I would feel like a FREAK! I have some NARS shadows that rock too but some suck. It is hit or miss with any and all brands. Even ELF, Wet and Wild, Revlon, etc.

At the end it's skin what's underneath all that makeup. And no amount of pretty makeup is going to make my face In the mornings look any better. That's skin care.

Hahha yea that's why I tend to prefer perm blushes cause I can depot without guilt and just have everything neat and organized
