I was immediately excited when I heard they were making a live action movie, but I hope that's not the direction they are going to take it. I can't remember who was cast for the main roles, so I need to look that up. For the love of all things good in this world, they better not make the movie completely modern and ruin the character's styles.I'm behind on everything but have ya'll seen this?

You know they will because they are going to want to market it to younger girls (teens I'm guessing) and they wouldn't like to 80's style.

I'm not a true 80's kid because I was only a baby in the 80's, but I love looking at pics of my mom back in those years because she looked exactly like me. It's fun to imagine what I would have been wearing in those years if I were a bit older. But I LOVE 80's tv shows and movies, so I will be pissed if they ruin this movie.Like ever other 80's re-vamp.They need to leave our childhood alone! Come up with your own icons and leave the 80s kid's cherished memories alone!

The 80s definitely had some of the most awesome toys, cartoons, movies and music! Fashions, not so much though. lol

I think some of the 80"s fashion was pretty cool, but "mom pants" as I call them were so awful. My mom used to wear those high waited jeans (not the cute ones we have now) all the time and I thought she had the tallest and flattest butt ever. One day she tried on my jeans and I was like "omfg MOM you have a nice ass!" Who knew something so nice had been swallowed up by those jeans for so many years. She now wears more fashionable jeans that flatter her body.
