Oh yes nine is another one of the pesky numbers that I hate to say. Your'e very lucky you got away from here because there's only one MAC counter and we just got Ulta last year. I love going to visit my boyfriend's family in New Jersey because I get to shop without having to drive a million miles to Sephora or MAC. I love Radford! I took an Appalachian Literature course there last year and it was amazing. I almost transferred schools after that so I could major in Appalachian Studies.
Where's a MAC counter at? When I left to move to DC in 2007, the closet one was in Charlottesville. I went to RU and was a tutor in the Appalachian studies program. Basically I had three students from nearby schools that I took under my wing to help them decide on after high school plans. Which was neat because I'm from Pulaksi, so I went to a local school. :)

The MAC counter is in Macy's at Valley View Mall in Roanoke, but I'm not sure how long it has been there because I never shopped at Macy's until I went in there and saw it with my grandma. It was exciting at first, but I still just order online like I always have lol.

That's so awesome that you went to RU! It is a good school, despite the "party school" reputation that it has. I was majoring in social work at the Roanoke campus, but took some time off and changed schools and major when I returned to school. I also know where Pulaski is because my boyfriend used to own a delivery service with the airport and we delivered there a lot.

I could never understand why Valley View didn't have a MAC counter, especially since they had a prescriptives back in the day. RU is a good school. I liked that it was mid-sized and they campus is beautiful. I went back to VA four years ago and visited the campus. It was so much prettier than when I was there. And it was nice then. It's so cool to know there are other RU gals on here!

OMG! I graduated from Radford!!!! Hello

I didn't graduate from there. I was there '97 and '98. I was stupid and dropped out to get married and have babies but then went back a few years later in TX when I realized I couldn't just be a wife forever. Thank goodness I did decide to change my major suring my break. I am from closer to Bristol and was in the area until '07 and have only been back once or twice since. Nine, light, all those words lol. Also, when I say Southwest Va people think I mean South West Virginia and I am like umm NO!! It is so pretty there but it isn't home anymore. YAY for SwVa peeps though.

I think Valley View has a hard time getting new stores to come to this area for some odd reason. The last time I went by the MAC counter it was really busy and Ulta is always busy too , so hopefully a Sephora will be in the near future. I've been begging my boyfriend to move us to New Jersey because there is so much more to do and that's where his family is (they are Italian, so amazing food!)

I'm just shocked you have mac and ulta. When I lived in Pulaksi I had to drive all the way to Roanoke just to go to the Gap. Oh Italian food. Yum. On a side note, I miss macados. :( Also, I just did a "when I was younger". Lol.

woo you miss ONE weekend on specktra and you come back to a mountain of posts to sift through.
I guess I missed all the drama although my two cents is that it is a little weird that when someone asked itsbcosIrock where she gets her stuff she said press releases. That seems weird but maybe she's a journalist or works for a big time magazine that gets the products super early.

I'm also surprised at how many people don't know who Jeffree Star is hahah

Anyway I'm excited for the velvetease since that's the only thing new that I missed hahah no new swatches

Lol yea there aren't really any decent malls in this area besides VV. I live about ten minutes away, so I go there a lot, but I have to drive 2+ hours for other stores I like. I also LOVE Macado's, so good.

I hope we start seeing reviews on this collection soon because I am dying to see more of those blushes. I wonder if the bloggers have been sent press samples and are able review now since we are seeing reviews for Lorde.

I also just have to say that I am so thankful that Sharon doesn't have lipsticks because I would never recover from this collection.

If I wanted a nice mall, I went to Charlotte to South Park mall. Or to DC to Tyson's corner. I lived in Alexandra for 2 years. So. Many. Malls.
Yes. My grandfather raised me and his brothers both lived in Alexandria so we were there a bit and my sperm doner dude was in Charlotte so I saw him occasionally there but the shopping was better than seeing him. Knoxville was only 3 or so hours from us and it was soo much better than what passed as local malls but where I am right now is so much worse. There are NO MALLS period for 2 hours.
