MAC Alluring Aquatic Collection (May 22, 2014)

Real techniques brushes get way better reviews than MAC anyway :dunno:

I didn't really compare them, I just looked at the shape and size of the brush and some blog reviews of people who bought RT brushes. I almost bought a Sigma but it seemed harder to clean. I will eventually try a MAC brush though especially as [@]erine1881[/@] recommend one to me

Okay.....my plan has been confirmed. The swatches did not make either one seem like it would be good for me. Love the colors but .....

I had such a crap night. Went to sleep at 1AM, couldn't fall asleep for an hour. Had my alarm set for 5AM to check on the launch, woke up at 4AM - nothing there - changed my alarm to 5:30AM - nothing there. I was like fuck it actually but woke up at 7AM and it had launched, quickly ordered Seduced at Sea and Aphrodites Shell (will get eyeshadows later) and went back to sleep, except I couldn't sleep for the next hour and a half!

Trust me it is much better to invest in quality brushes, rather than buying cheap brushes like Real Techniques and Sigma. I won't lie, I have a few and use them sometimes, but they don't hold up over time and do fall apart. If you look on eBay, you will see the same exact brushes on there for a lot cheaper. When you buy Sigma or RT, you are just paying extra for their brand on the handle, but they are all cheap machine made brushes.

It is the only EDES I didn' t get because I was unsure whether it suits me.

Yeah I actually haven't tried the. Real Techniques brushes- I just find MaC limited edition brushes to be overpriced and people often say the quality on the brushes in collections isn't great : :dunno: My fave brushes of all time are the MUfE artist line Amazing quality :eyelove::eyelove:

I HATE cleaning my Sigma brushes, especially the F80. I reach for my MAC brushes and Sonia Kashuk brushes the most. I'm excited to get the brushes from AA. I have the MAC 128 brush and love it, so I'm really excited for the 127.

I have a lot of MAC brushes and love them. I wouldn't trade my Sigma f80 for any of MAC's foundation brushes, though.

Lol for use with another powder or for the bronzer?

For loose powder. I have a brush set that I got as a gift but I'm not crazy about the powder brush in it. I would like to think I wasn't subconsciously sabotaging my no-buy by buying a brush for something I wasn't planning to get but... #MafiaMac lol
