MAC Alluring Aquatic Collection (May 22, 2014)

For the Canadians out there.. Monday is Victoria Day so I think Fed Ex is closed.. which means if you didn't put your order in before the cutoff today it will be there Wednesday.. I think that's right? Anyone know?

Okay so when did this launch? I checked before leaving for work and nothing was up. I checked on the ride to work as well. Nothing. I can't check through 1559 new posts. Just can't. I just had the day from H E double Hockey Sticks so I couldn't check during the day. I can't believe all the shadows are sold out. That was the main thing I wanted. Now I think I should just wait for Nordies. I didn't want to wait for Nordies because they take forever to ship. I like Mac's overnight shipping. It would have been so fun to have the products tomorrow and have the weekend to play with them. There are some things still available but I have a feeling I will end up buying more if I split up the orders. This has happened before. I still like all the glosses though. So maybe . . . I think I had decided to skip the brush for now. But now that it is still available, it is just staring at me.

So Nordies is launching the 19th? And Mac stores the 22nd? Please confirm. Is the 19th for Nordies for online or in store as well I know it has been asked a million times but I can't keep it straight.

Yup, Fedex is closed on Victoria Day. And it really depends where you live and if they use 3rd party delivery methods Oh and also if they process orders right away after the long weekend (they have that 1-3 business day window) =/ It's difficult to say, unfortunately

its a disaster... a funny one though and i learned my lesson which should apply to everything: dont get things online from random people you dont know.. dont believe the reviews since a lot of them are fake. see for yourself, touch and try things on.........

Was wondering where you were today! Glad you were able to get what you wanted from AA.

I know wedding stress is no fun at all, but just keep remembering that those are just things you will fuss about for that day, you are marrying the person you love for life

It went up before 10am est. I honestly think this sold out as fast as the Marilyn Monroe Collection. I thought for sure I had time to go back an hour later and order the eyshadows but nooooo they were gggggone! I'm happy I ordered the lipsticks. Now I will just have to wait on Nordies. P.S. for what its worth i asked nords and they said its schedule to release online monday.

I had big time Marilyn deja vu with this collection too! I didn't get into the Riri ones so not counting those I can't remember a collection selling out so quickly, like the lipsticks gone in 30 mins. On another note, for anyone wondering about the overnight shipping, I didn't get a shipping email but I checked my order status on the Mac site and all my items say "Shipped", so check that if you're wondering! I really hope they come tomorrow I hate having to wait over the weekend for stuff lol

I kno rite? I woke up after sleeping too much (I might have narcolepsy). It went up right when I went back to bed so when I got up at 2 pm I went straight to check and both the things I wanted were gone. Now I can see GotS being sold out but Fathom's Deep too? It's like the stock issue just keeps getting worse. This is only the second MAC collection where I haven't gotten what I wanted. First was Riri fall which was just insane. But usually the big summer collection isn't such a problem. I kinda panicked and bought Legendary Lure instead of waiting for FD to come up at Nordies.

I wish these could be depotted. I hate little individual e/s; the only ones I have are mini-EDES. Love the product, but I wish I could put them into a palette. I'd use them so much more that way. That's why I didn't get any.

haha! I too wish they were depotable. I would use them more in palettes. Individually I tend to just forget them after using few times. Moving on to the next! 

I really wish EDES were depottable. I always seem to forget about my single eyeshadows.

Time to reveal the e/s of the year (at least in my books): LORELEI :wave: If you are a pale NW and have blue eyes, you need Lorelei! I've been using it for almost two weeks straight as it makes blue eyes pop like crazy. It is golden with the same, but more subtle, undertone than Faux Gold MES. It works as a wash of color, but can also be built to an opaque shade. I love it as a was of color with an add "cross" in the center of the lid and the center of the crease. It opens your eyes in a very refreshing way without adding too much color. I find this the perfect nude e/s for pale blue-eyed beauties. I actually ordered a BU and typically I do not BU e/s. On a related note: If you can, get all of the e/s them. They are buttery, pigmented AND BLENDABLE. For me it is crucial that they blend well. I know a lot of people are complaining about the size, but personally I don't care much about that. If the quality is there, it is worth my money. If you like darker e/s, def check out Fathom Deep. The purpley undertone will make brown eyes pop!

Lorelei was originally on my list when the color story first came out. It may be back on my list!! You make it sounds lovely!!!
