True and True. And as much as I will gripe and complain I will STILL buy what I want from MAC. I might not buy every item MAC ever releases but if it's something I feel I absolutely NEED then I will shell out the bucks. All the price jump is doing is making me be smarter about which items I purchase and how many BU I get.

exactly!!! I have to realize i have a lot of makeup as is, and that i wont die if i skip a few items from my lists. It helps to remember that there is always another cool collection around the corner too.

im not mad at you. im talking about Mac.  Mac is more like Urban Decay and maybe Tarte  than Nars, Shiseido, Lancome, EL to me. With the Costumer Service Mac has become the next Brand after Drugstore. Yes, Prices have gone up, But there is no Excuse for an $8 Increase on the same Product with not improvements even their AA blushes are $27.50 in Special Packaging.  I agree People who continued to buy Makeup are gonna have to put up with Mac or Move on To the Next Best Brand.

That is exactly why I decided to skip the blushes from this collection!

$1-2 not $8. 

I think that is crazy. Why would the blushes be increased $8 for packaging and the rest of the collection only increased $1-2? Makes no sense to me.

Both the Kelly and Sharon blushes will be priced at $23

I'm torn between being excited about this or not. I originally wanted the blushes and they look pretty. But between Maleficent, Alluring Aquatic, and the NuMe purchase I made, I think it would be good on my wallet to skip this collection. It was easier to skip the blushes with no remorse when the price was $29.

Me too. $15 was such a nice round number, and now $16 doesn't sound right. They've been 15 for a long time.

And come Aug when the next price increase takes place, shadows will jump to $16 as well.

You all are going to learn one day to stop asking the folks at MAC chat for info. They don't have the answers. Trust the folks like [@]erine1881[/@] who get the tea. They are rarely wrong. [@]NaomiH[/@], meeting the future in-laws, huh? I'm sure it will be just fine. That's a good look.

How often does MAC increase prices? I haven't been collecting long enough to have experience the price changes going on like they are now.

they have yearly increments and increments also depend on the macro economic environment. cost of money, cost of commodities, cost of labour, etc.

these are not things the normal consumer is aware of.. but a reality for huge corporations.

and please, no griping about how much the CEO makes.. that's a given and built into the increments.. take it or leave it.

Makes perfect sense. Like I stated before, if I need it then I am going to buy it. They know that, I know that, the lipstick I covet knows that.

I just got confirmation, AGAIN, that this launches -on counter EVERYWHERE on the 12th, so that means -online (if MAC keeps it up) on the 5th and (again, if MAC stays true) -for pros on the 3rd So there you have it. No more questions about when and where this launches. Ok?

The other day I asked about AA and you did the same thing. I'm glad I didn't listen and went with what other people said, as you responded by telling me the release date was the 22nd and insinuated anyone that questioned that or thought otherwise was ignorant.

If i responded with the 22nd, then you asked when the in-store release date was (as opposed to the online release date) which is correct. How about actually searching thru the thread rather than asking a question that's asked over and over and over, at least 10 times, guaranteed more than that, a day. It's extremely annoying, and quite frankly i get tired of repeating myself, just to have someone jump in and ask the same question again 10 minutes later, when had they read even 10 posts above they would've found the answer. I'm not insinuating they're ignorant. I'm flat out saying they're just lazy.

It really is best to do a bit of research through the thread first. If you don't find the answer to what you're looking for then speak up and ask. But don't take it personal when someone gets short with you. They've probably been asked the same question multiple times. And when it comes down to it they don't HAVE to tell any of us anything. Just ask your question nicely and maybe disclaimer that you looked but did not see it answered in thread. Also you never know what is going on in someone's personal life. So be kind. Always.
