SO i went to the MAC launch today at my MAC store... i should know better that I spend triple when I go in person. My SA held way more then i wanted and I'm so easily influenced lol.

Ummm ok i guess but i'm very yellow. I dont wear foundation so it's not a big deal but I wanted to know out of curiousity. Sephora says i'm yellow and matches me to yellowy stuff but MAC says i'm NW... who knows. maybe i'm neutral either way i'm still fair. lol

Hey Ladies!

Just another vent here. Because I haven't been BITCHING enough right!???

MAC just emailed me CANCELLING MY ORDER. YES.

I'm so sick of this BS. I am going to take a break after this collection and really rethink what I am doing. MAC Canada seems to suck. I don't understand how they can't keep track of their inventory. If it's an issue, do a release, then do a restock once you know you have the products. Don't oversell and then cancel.

They seem to have lost their roots and gotten a little too big for their britches w/o figuring out a good system. I love their makeup and quality (usually), but I'm not sure it's worth this BS.

OH NO!!! i'm so sorry. that sucks. Can you make it to their launch? or another store? How much stuff was your order? maybe some of us can help you get the stuff.

I just went in for a root canal and found out my tooth is split. So it has to be pulled and an implant has to be placed. I'm so scared/pissed. So expensive. Dammit.

I went through that last summer--a molar that was a baby tooth split and had to be pulled. At the time I hated the whole process, never mind the huge expense, but a year later I am so thankful I did it. In the long run, an implant is definitely the way to go.

btw--they split the tooth in two when they pulled it, but I went without gas and it was totally fine. The freezing did the trick and I didn't even know when they pulled it! You can totally do this.

That is totally nuts because you ordered before me and my order was delivered Tuesday! What the heck?! I have never had any problem ordering from Mac Canada. So sorry that this happened!

UPS finally updated my shipping information...my Mystical and Enchanted One lipsticks should be here on Friday...really hoping they come while I'm home cause I'm supposed to see a movie and don't want them melting in the heat. On another note, swung by Macy's today to get the new Bare Minerals liquid foundation and stopped by MAC...I saw the displays for this collection. So pretty...really made me want more from this collection but I need to relax, especially since Osbournes is around the corner lol...

I had the same problem because I am so fair. I have a bit of pink in my cheeks, but I'm really very neutral. I would get conflicting color matches from multiple MUA's. I was getting by with NC15 when I was using the studio fix powder + foundation, but when I went to try actual liquid foundations it was a mess. I ended up having to mix NC15 and NW10 to get a more neutral, lighter shade and I usually thin Studio fix out with face and body, because I like a sheerer foundation. SOOOOO I end up with 4 bottles of foundation in my routine.

I also tried the Sephora camera thingy but that didn't work at all. the shades it picked were all over the place. There must be an easier solution for you. I wouldn't have the patience for 4 different products

My PMP was shipped USPS and I got a shipping notification on the 15th, but when I checked yesterday, It had just been received. It usually takes about a week to 10 days to get stuff out here, but it's going be be at least another 5 days before it gets here. BOOO!

I want to try some of the other MAC foundations, but they won't give me samples at the local store (I'm in Germany and I don't speak the language well, so I get intimidated easily lol) so once I get back to the states I'm going to explore some more. The last year or so MAC has expanded many of their foundation lines to include some lighter shades. Even the studio Fix powder has some new shades like NW10 and NW18. I have thought about just sanitizing a bowl and mixing both of my Studio Fix fluids and then putting them back in the bottles mixed to the right shade, I just haven't gotten the guts yet. Besides I have pumps on the bottles, so that makes it soooo much easier to just squirt out one or two pumps from each bottle. When I add face and body, it gets tricky, I have to actually pour those out.

Did anyone else order thru Macys with free delivery? If so what's your delivery date? Mine isn't until the 29th....ugggggggg!!!!!!!!!!! Never again that's 10 days from when I ordered. I hope it comes sooner than that.

Mine is the 28th! It's currently in NJ, coming from... NJ lol.
