Well how was I supposed to know that wasn't true? That's what I had heard others saying. So instead of acting like I'm the root of the problem and spreading information, even though all I did was tell one person what I thought may have happened, why don't you just kindly explain that is not true.

Sorry for taking it that way then. I've just had that problem here before and I took it personally. Thank you for letting me know though that I was incorrect. Do you think the MAC people were just confused saying it launched at 8 EST?

MAC can go by whatever, Customer Service has NO CLUE or control over IT and when they put it up or send texts and emails. If it was not changed from coming soon it would not have been legit, but it was and we all ordered.

I did stalk, I was here all night except three hours. This is just about me thinking they maybe don't call it an official launch until it's up on the new collections thing.

Yes, lol. In my old age my temper is short. It does not mean I dislike people that are members. I welcome all that contribute and that are a part of the community. I just dislike drama, bullshit, and people talking out of their asses to create drama and bullshit about something that is as mundane and typical as a MAC launch can be. I lack the snark of Erin but I just can't hide the frustration today.


I do dislike the guests that are just here for info and leave. It ruins the sense of community for me.

I leave to keep an eye on another group of electricians, and find this .. lol. My age makes me short tempered too.. and I can be very snarky but try not to. It's an exercise in constraint for me sometimes. Like penance.. lol. I too dislike drama and people who just want info without giving anything back... ever. I think I contribute as much as I "legally" can. I have had this collection for years now.. and all that stood out to me were the blushes. Why? they are a thing of the future. The matte white based lipsticks are cool now, but won't be a classic ever.. EVER. This launch like all MAC launches brings out the worst in people.. and that is one of the reasons I sometimes leave. I often get asked for samples.. can I tell people what's what. NO, I Cannot, No I will not. I have given.. nevere sold anything to some ladies here who have wit, honour, and can give me feedback on some things which I don't keep track of because I work behind computers, desks and on airplanes. I don't have time to browse counters and sometimes ask for help via opinions.

I too dislike the "guests" because they don't contribute to anything. Just take our information which we all work hard at obtaining and don't even respond except for some insults.

so yes.. these things make Specktra a place of fun, but also some aggravation. We do not have an "obligation" to teach anyone.. we can only contribute to help. This is what life is about.. we ask, we get.. but we cannot obligate anyone.

It gets old and boring. It's super easy to figure stuff out. Because almost all the time the information is still being said over and over.

Quite good. medium-full. I have rosacea and don't always have to use concealer with it.

stirfryedshana, no one here has an EXACT idea about anything.. only experience points us in certain directions. Nobody except maybe 5-6 people online here in Specktra know what's coming and wha't hot.. and each and everyone of them is leary/ weary of giving out information and then getting reamed up the ass for it not being enough, not timely, or whatnot.

I went to bed at 10, set my alarm for 350 but popped awake at 330, it launched, ordered my stuff and went back to bed lol I swear it's like my body knows when stuff is gonna launch cause every time I pop awake like 15-30 minutes before same thing happened for pedro.

No, I get that. I just don't like how if a new person gets something wrong they're jumped all over for it. I've seen it happen several times, and not just to me. But whatever it's over now. Hope you got some sleep last night! You said you weren't buying anything from this one right?
