MAC Sharon and Kelly Osbourne Collection (June 5, 2014)

Hope everyone isn't tired of looking at swatches yet! Thought I'd throw my pics up so the darker-skinned Specktrettes can get an idea of what what it looks like on their skin tone. The only makeup I'm wearing in this photo is eyeliner and mascara...heat, humidity, makeup and I don't get along so I only wear a full face when I absolutely have to once summer hits! Also, pardon my tired, shiny face and goofy expressions, lol! All pics are indoors with only natural light.


Dodgy Girl. I didn't think I'd like this one but all the pretty pics I saw of it made me want to get it, and I'm glad I did! I don't care if the colour isn't the most flattering as it's absolutely beautiful and applies like a dream.



Cranberry. Love the colour, HATE the application, which I found to be very dry and draggy (ya, I realize that isn't a word, lol). It could be just me though because all the reviews I've read describe it as creamy. My lips are very sensitive and filling them in with lip pencils is always uncomfortable for me.


Cranberry + Bijou =

Bijou on its own. It's a VERY pretty colour...I'm not a gloss person but I'm sure I'll wear this one to the ground!


Patentpink. This looked soooo pretty when swatched on my hand in store but I don't know how I feel about it on my lips; I think it's verging on tacky territory for me.


Kelly Yum Yum! I LOVE this so much! I should have gotten a BU but honestly, it's probably best I didn't as I don't think the colour is THAT unique. But it is super gorgeous!

Yes! She opened the drawer in front of me and it was one of those tiny desk drawer types...it was maybe 1/2, 1/3rd full! There was almost nothing and people had huge lists. She said she was shocked they got so little. MAC freestanding had a closetfull..I saw accidentally last week...they were running low by the time it started to settle down! The phones were ringing off the hook and the MUAs kept repeating "no we can't hold anything for you and not to be mean but it will sell out before lunchtime...it was insane!! Yeah they were pretty nice about it but it was hectic. The girls who cut didn't even acknowledge us so we reformed our original line to the 2nd cash register and the one girl seemed to speed us up and the other seemed to go slower! But the other girl had a lot of people who just were indecisive and wanted to swatch, etc...eventually us first 10 at the front got in and out before the others. I usually order online so I was new to this line! Haha!

That's just plain crazy!

Innocent is nearly completely sheer on me. I picked it up because I saw that someone on the thread was going to use it to soften Riot House and Strip Poker down. Innocent's texture is not glossy like a lip glass, so I thought that was a really good idea and want to use it the same way (plus the moisturizing quality when worn alone as a MLBB thing). I think RH and SP will go on a little too dry on me (I'm taking Claritin a lot these days, and my skin is showing it!). So it's going to be a grab-and-go thing, plus to soften matte lipsticks down w/o getting a high shine.

I have an order in already for Ruby and French Kiss. But Innocent I think will be virtually clear on my pigmented lips--a little like a balm, really and will lighten the color of the lips a few shades lighter.

Thanks so much! I have very pigmented lips as well. I just tried What Comes Naturally lip pencil & it is WONDEFUL! Its one of the best lightening pale nude pencils I've tried & it really tones down my lip color. Its also very creamy so you can apply it with the pencil & then pat it out lightly with your finger. I really like it. It should also be perm.

That was the first time. I had a CYY melt but that was a UPS issue. It came in the AM and they put it in the mailbox at the end of the driveway and it was over 110. They switched my Mirror and Gold Mirror and also the Proenza blushes where I just got Ocean City but they sent me SB. This was the first just not in there item.

I don't post much but I do read a lot on here! I was super lucky today. I forgot Macy's in town opened at 9 and not 10, but was unsure if MAC there was still 10. I got there right at 9 and went directly to the cash register, while girls came around the other side and moseyed over. The MUA saw me first and said that made me first in line (I did get there first but by like, 5 seconds!). They only got ONE of each lipstick...so I bought them all! I was also trying to get a set for my best friend, but they had none left. I asked if there was a purchase limit and she said there's no limit because we got almost nothing! I also picked up Jolly Good. The women behind me in the line were pretty upset I got all the lipsticks, but it isn't my fault they only got 1 of each. When I left, honestly not even 5 minutes later, the line jumped from 5-6 of us to over 20. It is in an office building and people were coming downstairs from their work!

THEN, I raced over to the free standing MAC store about two blocks away and was 5th in line, and waited about 45 minutes. As soon as the door opened, the girls last in line (like 30 back!) stormed past us and ran up to the register! Needless to say we all (politely) flipped out, and the girls there refused to help them until the people they saw in front of the line were helped. I was able to get another set of lipsticks for my friend and went on my merry way. I must've gotten super lucky!! I didn't get BUs of anything but I think I will be fine - so many girls wanted them that I felt guilty to get many of the same color. I was just shocked how rude the girls in the back of the line had been - literally physically knocking us out of the way!

Sorry for this huge post! I hope everyone got what they wanted most! My mall has 3 MACs, 1 freestanding and two counters (Idk why, it's not a HUGE mall...) so I may see tonight before my movie if they have any of the other things I liked but were not must-haves left.

That is just ridiculous! The first MAC I went to also got very few lipsticks...they sold out of Dodgy Girl after only three people had made their purchases. Granted, it was a teeny tiny MAC store but still. I think they know full well what they're doing...I'm sure they're well aware of the huge demand for their LE collections on the black market (lol) so they play into that by limiting how much stock they distribute to create an even bigger demand. I mean let's be real; if everyone knew they had plenty of stock to go around, people wouldn't be buying stuff up like crazy and the collection wouldn't be selling out in minutes.

GFG....just some people. No one on here but just people in general. The one on here for the most part I like more than the ones I associate with IRL. They are mostly users, abusers, and think that because of the job my husband does that we can afford to supply others with ish.

hey ladies, I haven't been active in a while (put myself on a no buy policy from MAC) but I'm back now. Just popping to say for anyone still looking for Dodgy Girl, I've been on a mission all day and Dillards in Norman, OK (405) 329-2600 & in Clear water, FL (727) 344-4611 had some in stock. Fl only had 2-3 & i ordered one. There's an 8.50 shipping charge though (I wanted it that bad lol) Also there's some store I called earlier that had the other shades too, I can't remember which ones cause I called so many but just call around. Had the best luck with Belk & Dillards. Good luck!
