It really helps to have a primer on underneath (don't know if you have tried that yet!). Exfoliate the hell outta those lips too lol! I can imagine that it probably looks gorgeous on you anyway Great haul Genn! I hope that you can somehow make RH work for you and that you grow to love it too

Everyone is looking really stunning in their goodies. I am super behind and absolutely sure that it is impossible to catch up. Not sure if this is late or old news but I saw a make up artist use Riot House lipstick mixed with Heroine and also Kelly Yum Yum. She was giving some tips about the versatilty of RH. I am a gloss girl but I cudn't help but to be intriqued. She suggested adding RH in the middle of the lips after the bright color. It is supposed to resemble a sunset on the lips however she did it on her hands. Very ombre looking. I do recall her saying that RH can tone down the bright colors, anything that is a bright red, pink, orange and purples. She also suggested using brown lip liners to create a natural look. She mentioned a couple like Beet, Currant, etc. Not sure if this will help anyone but I thought I would share her enthusiasm and tips here. Sorry and my apologies if I am repeating anything. Thank you Adding to this comment, yesterday I went back to Mac but I stopped @ the nordstrom Mac standing and one of the MA suggested to use strip down l/p with RH on top and I actually liked the result. I only tried it there but I did not get that l/p.

Actual scrub is best and my Clarisonic or a toothbrush. Seriously. Then moisturize all the time not just before lipstick. Before bed, when you get up. It makes a huge difference. IMO. I use a good balm about 30 min before PnP lip too. Then for mattes a lustre under or lipglass lightly on top is a savior sometimes.

White granulated sugar + olive oil ... Just make a paste just need to make a little. I find it works better for me

It is still a drier matte lip, so it will take a bit more work than others and it will still look a bit different on because of the formula.

Ok everyone! I'm super nervous to post a selfie but I figured I would try! Be gentle please haha! I also just cut off tons of my hair & am still a bit shy about it. What are some alternative shades for Fizzy Rose? I've heard that MAC Digit is similar but I think it leans more purple. Too Faced Strawberry Bon Bon from the Chocolate Bar palette seems similar, just a different formula. Anyone have any of those or anything else in their collection they find similar to Fizzy Rose?

Thanks! I haven't swatched it in person before but it seems more purple compared to Fizzy Rose. I was thinking of picking that up since I can't afford the Bloody Brilliant quad right now. It seems like I would have to mix some colors to find something close to Fizzy Rose though. I haven't found anything online that seems to be a close dupe. Did you pick up the quad?

Jack Black lip balm is my saving grace too Don't know if you have that one, but you should definitely give it a go!
