Loving how Atmosphére vernis shifts from a pale beige-gold (in extreme angels or direct sun) to an iridescent pink. I find it to be much different from the Dior Perle... that one is more purple and the shimmer is larger, also that one dries to a matte finish.
The matching gloss, 191 Songe, is less impressive. Wish it packed more pigment... This one basically gives your lips a nice plump look, without the duochrome being obvious whatsoever.
Will have to try layering it over different lip liners/lipsticks.

Thanks for this feedback Teger. I was also hoping to do some layering w/Songe. It just looked so appealing and like nothing else that I own---and it looked like it
belonged w/Atmosphere!

Nice!  So sweet of you to keep the pics & swatches coming Awickedshape!  I think  I'm done;  Blush, 2 NPs, 3 e/s, 2 RCS & 1 Glossimer.      Have your issue w/Chanel.com resolved?
No problem, can't wait to see more Specktra swatches :) I think the only resolution will be seeing the money reflected in my account balance so I'm just waiting for that. There wasn't really any attempt to resolve anything on their end.

Well, I'm absolutely incensed. My Chanel order was cancelled only today with no reason given. I called Consumer Relations and was informed that an email was supposed to have been sent to me to confirm my order, however I never got any such thing or even a simple phone call and apparently nothing can be done, I just have to wait to see when my account will reflect the released funds and resubmit my order. Totally disgusted right now.
I stopped buying Chanel for a while because of this exact situation. My credit card required an authorization number to refund my credit card and Chanel refused to produce one. Many phone calls later, they said it was a credit card issue and not there's. There was never a manager to speak to no matter what time I called an it took over a month for the charge to finally be dropped and only because my credit cards policy is that a pending charge will be dropped after that time with no contact from the merchant. I HATE chanel.com and their customer service. They kept shoving down my throat that they are the leader of quality luxury goods and superior customer service. Laughable!!!!!!

I agree but Chanel makeup has to find an Artistic Director. Peter Philips created the Rouge Coco, the IDOs, Les Beiges and so much more, without a talented Artistic Director Chanel will not be Chanel any more just like Dior perfumes are now dead so to say. The summer collection is clearly bad the only highlight is the np set and possibly some Illusions d'Ombres, the Fall one looks awful esp the eyeshadows. No Rouge Coco either well, what is the matter with Chanel makeup ? I will pick up some items but I wish they would find their Artistic direction which is not the case obviously .
I am not so pessimistic. I hope chanel will find an artistic director (nars would be a great idea) but let' s not hang on the idea that everything is lost without The Master! I recall a lot of criticism toward pp and his collection for beig repetitive, or sheer, or whateveer you want. Personally, i love repreomotes and i liked this year's xcollections, which gave us - a full spring collection - six new eye palettes - A new foundation with two powder blushes - variation collection - le belle mine collection - a summer collection which reminds me les pop ups summere collection - A fall collection which reminds me of les essentielles fall collection But I agree when you comply about dior commercial perfumery Ps used swimming pool in these days, Aquas colours are quite sheer but the central light blue is still in good health.

Peter Philips is a master in my opinion, it is subjective of course but he brought us so much : colours, pureness, "ready-to-wear" makeup that looks simple but in fact highly sophisticated ( Rouge Coco, Les Beiges, etc.. ). I don't think it was repetitive, his collections enhance the beauty of women in a simple manner ( we have Marc Jacobs makeup here, it is awful compared to Chanel, Lancôme well, I am wondering if Aaron de Mey is still Artistic Director ? ), so yes Peter Philips is really a master, hands down I would even say.
Swimming-Pool, :) yes the central blue colour is ok but there is no pattern on it !

It is a gorgeous quint though !

Chanel make style is repetitive but classy, hedgy, stylish , that's why I love this brand.pp brought his vision and maybe that's what lacks now, someone who create trend, a vision. I hope chanel will find one, in the meantime I' m enjoying the new goodies , which are not that bad

I was able to see this collection in person today. I swatched everything and purchased: Atmosphere, Songe (to layer over ls), Viva and the JC. I had no issues swatching the JC and getting a lot of pigment. Unless the tester was a fluke, I think that I will be very happy with the JC. It was not hard, stiff or patchy. The shadows were not as bad as I thought they would be based on reviews that I read. I liked Hesitation the best out of all of them. Plus it would be the most unique for my stash, so I may go back for it. The new liner seems nice, and I may pick that up as well.

I spoke to the SA about the anniversary sale. Apparently there will be a cosmetic bag offered with a minimum purchase - in limited quantities of course.
Also they will be selling the dentelle lace highlighter that I have seen featured in threads on here

. Don't know if this is new info or not, so I am sorry if I am repeating stuff everyone already knows.

I passed on the es in this collection also b/c I stopped by the YSL counter and looked at the new palettes. Ended up with a couple of those too....

Haven, you are a girl after my own heart!

I'm so glad you tried the items for yourself. Like you, I did not have the experience that some of the bloggers had nor did
I rely on their opinions. I purchased Innocence, Sensation, Palpitation, Viva, Aura & Orage. I ordered Songe, Atmosphere, Intime & Exaltation. I tried on Viva with
Chanel's Sonic Pink Le Crayon Lèvres Precision Lip Definer, # 70 & OMG---it's GORGEOUS. I'll do the same with Aura and the Plum lip definer.

And yes, we're all eagerly awaiting the lace highlighter

I also purchased two of the YSL couture palettes, Afrique 03 and Babay Doll Nude 09 I have my eye on one more.
girlhaha.gif
Which two did you pick up?

Part one of my fall haul---unfortunately in artificial light but the colors are exquisite IRL.

I'm getting the blush & Viva for sure this weekend when I go to Nordies.I called my store to have them hold them for me, & he was like what, which product is that
ohboy.gif
So after he figured out what I was talking about, he described the blush as more of a rose tone Rose Ecrin. We'll see ;)
I'll be very curious to see how different Innocence and Rose Ecrin really are. If I put them both in my cart the swatches look pretty much identical on my monitor.

hopefully Innocence is not similar to Rose Ecrin !
