It can do light duty as a primer, especially if you get uneven skin texture due to water retention and puffiness around the eyes, but it's not going to make shadow grip on there and wear like iron. It won't make shadow slide off or crease either, though.

It's mostly for battling under eye bags, puffiness and uneven color/darkness. For puffy eyes, it's much easier to deal with than concealer, because it's easy to mask them with the tint it has and the slight reflectivity. I use it instead of concealer when I want a light look, or under concealer. It's like a multi-purpose Fast Response cream with a better texture.
No wonder it has not done much for me as I don't have eye bags or puffiness - and nothing erases my dark circles :( .

Vibrancy eye is returning as part of the Lightful line.

SO EXCITED!

Also, so happy I resisted the urge to stockpile too much. I have one that will be finished in a couple months and then 1 backup.

The next thing I'm excited about is the Dusty Mauve lipstick from this old fashion week article (A/W 2014): http://www.runwaylive.com/runway-shows/3549-milan_fw_23_24.html Hopefully it's still coming out, because dusty mauve is THE color for me if I had to choose one that suits me the best.

Do you mean as a single lipstick?

It was part of the Fall 2014 Trend Forecast Lip Palette.

But I would love it too if MAC would release it as a single lipstick because it is a gorgeous color

I really love the Patentpolish (they remind me of Huggables). I don't bother with lip liner with those because they're a sheerer, more natural look. I'd like to check out the matte version, but I wonder if the bulby top would translate to less precise application than the normal tube style with the point.

Oh boo! :( The way they listed it made it sound like a single lipstick. Should have known it was too good to be true! Thanks for the info though!

The velvetease will be in tube style with the point I believe.

I swatched Dusty Mauve and posted it last March. The pictures are in this thread :)

And btw, I did ask my mac at macys about the mystery collection and they looked at me like "WTF you smokin' ?" :haha:
It continues to amaze me how little some Mac MUA artists know about upcoming collections and the product they sell in general. Unbelievable. :headbang:

I found a link that says something about a Cher Artist Palette, not sure if we heard anything about it yet. But I'm guessing it will be perm shades. :hmm: Category Instance Details :: CAT13438
so if you look toward the bottom of this page, it has a list of siblings...those are pages that have the same level in that category. the names are the names of different people, so i would assume other palettes- my guess is that these are quads curated by mac artists? edit- do the other ones exist already? gregory, monica?
