really?!? now that is strange as i have every one of blush and not one of them gets messy or dusty!

i have had chanel (esp the baked stuff!) do that to me but never TF, hmmmmmm……..have you tried from different places?

the reason i ask is that once i had a make over at TF counter and it was bad products, i had to go straight out after but left as soon as i could to wash off, something in the foundation and who knows what else had gone wrong, very wrong!

i then tried from another location and all was fine!! i will never have m/u done again at any counter as i think her brushes were not cleaned proper in addition to bad products!

but never had any problems with TF ever again and i have a TF addiction!! ha!

I couldn't quite get Twist of Fate to come out accurately but I think Negligee looks pretty close here.

Negligee is a great neutral for me. It is a go with anything shade for me. Nice color but not earth shattering.

Twist of Fate is bright and a bit light for me. The color is really pretty though. Enough so that I want to make it work. I tried it with Mac Ablaze liner. It made it even brighter. Then I tried it with a bit of Mac Cushy liner (a light/medium brown). I really like it. I think this color would have worked better with the summer line. Now I'm not saying it looks like these colors but it really puts me in mind of the bright coral shades that I love so much but don't love me so much like Mac Watch Me Simmer and Mac Hibiscus. I didn't dig those out to compare but it puts me in that mind. I think a lot of people will love it. I think this color is worth checking out if you are near a counter. But it just doesn't scream fall to me.

I think I will wear Twist of Fate tomorrow.

they both look great on you! what about trying with a tiny bit of sable smoke if you have? i find browns chill down brightness on me….now this is looking hard to resist!!

Not orange at all! I have very olive coloring and it doesn't translate to orange. T is very golden so colors tend to look very different on her. That and the lighting she uses.

yes, i guess she is golden olive, would be so nice to have same skin as her as she reviews the world of m/u!

hmmm, so i wonder if it is a cool vs. warm……it looks so different on everyone! are you happy you bought both? the highlight seems more different to me than the blush swatches from pics, i see peach in softcore and gold in stroked for hightlight, is that close?

is it close to TF blush formula? !




i think these 2 products were asia exclusive, pls correct me if wrong, i looked quick and could not find much info!

If you wear Alabaster foundation (perfect match for me!) what shade of his new concealer would work? I have super pale skin between NW10 and NW15, with pink undertones. If I wear something with yellow undertones I look like I am in liver failure....there is no TF counter near me, unless I go downtown Chicago, which is a serious haul for me. I found none of his current blushes work for me. Hopefully "softcore" will be ok. Wicked was perfect, too bad they discontinued. His primer made my face bright red. Obviously I am allergic to something in it. Same with Kevyn Aucoin primers. Armani primer so far is the only one I don't look like I am experiencing heat stroke. Any suggestions on the concealer would be super, thanks!

Wicked is not permanent? When is the last time you checked? I bought it earlier this year when they brought it back. I see it listed on Bloomingdale's site. If it was limited, you shouldn't have too hard a time finding it as it was in stores not too long ago. I hope that is not true. I've been wearing it a lot. Wicked has become my go-to pink blush.

I agree! I literally just bought my first Wicked in July after months of waiting for it to come back in stock. The TF SA at Bloomingdales said that it wasn't discontinued but was for some reason just out of stock for a very long time. She had plenty of them.

Wicked was discontinued last year when TF also retired several quads. I did check the TF website, I was surprised to see it back, happy it has come back. I purchased a backup from ebay and paid through the nose. Frantic Pink is just too coral for my skin, the others too brown. Wicked was the only one that worked. Thanks for your help!!!!

Hey guys ! i was at tom ford today buying a few things (face wash,lipstick and eyebrow styler) and i said "do you have the new lipsticks" and the sales assistant looked at me like i had just screamed bloody murder and said "the matte ones?..." and looked at me strangely like i knew something i shouldn't, she then quickly realised i was talking about negligee from the new fall release and she quickly changed tone and grabbed me one.

SO ! i think there is to be a new matte lipstick range in the next few months !. pretty exciting if im right :).

On another note have you ever received samples from tom ford counters ? iv been spending over £100 on regular trips over the last few years and i have only ever received 1 foundation sample and 3 perfume samples.....never makeup or skincare , until today when i asked if i could have a miniature lipstick which they reluctantly handed over :/ however i was in on friday (its monday) and they said they had none so this time i asked after i bought something and got it, so they lied previously *eyeroll*.

Ooh a miniature lipstick? Which shade? I did hear about a new lipstick line coming from my SA along with some body products.

i think when u spend that kind of money u should get samples automatically I been to the chanel counter spend $150 on brushes and got some sample glosses I wonder why some sa don't like to hand over samples my mac counter give me mascara samples too usually if I spend over $50 dollars one sa when I used to go all the time always gave me free mac samples mostly mascara I hope u are enjoying your goodies I can't wait to try Tf mattes so exciting

I got cherry lush ! :) i'll keep it unused i think since i collect lipstick mini's but im hoping to get an indian rose mini so i can keep it in my makeup bag :).

Oh i totally agree !. its really down to the sales assistant , Chanel have given me a makeup remover once and thats it, i usually have to ask and usually they say they have none. Givenchy gave me lots of stuff a few months back like mascara and foundation and illamasqua gave me a whole lipstick and pair of lashes ! so it varies but when tom ford are selling skin care and makeup that costs over $100 they should really let people try before buying :).
