I want the orange red, the blush, and bad fairy. Not really a RHPS fan (sorry guys) but nonetheless excited for this release!! I've only seen it once and didn't quite understand it, I've never really liked musicals but to each their own. I think it's definitely cool for Mac to make a solid collection based off an old movie with such a wide following. Maybe we'll see more like it in the future!
I think it's one of those movies that you have to find a midnight showing of at a theater, dress up, and go for the atmosphere tbh. That's how I watched it the first time, and it really really adds to the film. Definitely something fun/crazy to do as a night out with the girls :)

edit: if any of you ladies are ever in Portland, you should definitely stop by and see it at the Clinton Street Theater, I think they've had the longest running of RHPS ever, having played it every Saturday since 1978.. the more you know!

I remember my first time watching it. It was on tv and the whole time I was just like "wtf?!" I had come in to it during "There's a Light". I didn't watch too closely, but something about it intrigued me, since I sought it out and rewatched. Aaaaand now I am hooked. I've gone to three live showings of it in my town (they only do it around Halloween here) and I have seen the movie countless times. I am very excited for this collection! I urge anyone interested in anything from the collection to go watch the film if you haven't already :D

My first time watching it was when I was 16 with my older sister who had wanted me to watch it. As soon as it was over I said, "Wtf did I just watch? Let's watch it again." And thus my love of RHPS began lol. I've gone to yearly October midnight showings of it for almost 10 years now! This will be my first year not going and I'm pretty bummed. But this collection definitely helps make up for it! I still remember one year when I was 17, we all had lingerie on and we got pulled over at a checkpoint on the way home. Suddenly our car had like the entire police force converging on us apparently thinking we were a carful of underage prostitutes lol.

Anybody find it funny that once Specktra started finding the holding pages over on MAC for these upcoming collections that all of a sudden those swatches started appearing on eBay "pre sale" listings? And why would anybody want to presale something off of eBay that won't ship for a month?

I know. Unbelievable. I am amazed how and why people want to take advantage of others. It makes no sense.

My definites are Bad Fairy and the pigment! MACs pigments are what got me started on MAC. So I'm no stranger to them. This one is stunning! Bad Fairy has been such a regret of mine. And that baby went fast, esp for a polish. Pending more swatches I'm looking at maybe the blush, a greasepaint stick, and a lippy. I just don't feel I need another red. We'll see :)

Just as we thought the dramatic over the top look was a trend of the past, Mac has gone over the top with their new outrageous Fall Collection Rocky Horror Picture Show. This 1975 musical comedy horror cult film’s iconic poster is known as the campy classic was made for an outrageous makeup collection. I’m taking about dramatic blue eyeshadow all the way to the brows! Bold red lipstick ! Gitter everywhere!
This collaboration will mark the films 40th anniversary, and M-A-C along with the creative team behind the cult classic, have geared up to give fans of the film this special treat. MAC’s 21-piece collection features iridescent nail polish, kaleidoscopic glitter pigments, lashes, greasy black liner, vampy lipsticks, and more, all perfect to recreate themselves into characters from Richard O’Brien’s classic movie, or they can use them for a simple night out on the town. The products will be available for purchase from stores on October 2, and can also be ordered online at maccosmetics.com
