@elegant-one Thank you! I was worried the blush was going to be very light. There are photos of it used on the runway and these models are uber fair and I can still barely see the blush at all on them (http://nadinejolie.com/blog/2014/07/chanel-haute-couture-show-2014-2015-makeup-and-hair/)

So far I've only ordered the eyeshadow palette and I will probably order the stylo yeux.
You are so welcome hun. You are not allowed to take pics in this mall & then he wiped the swatches off my hand :(

You will LOVE the palette. Gorgeous.

Maybe a pair of Michael Kors shoes :haha: No, I still may get it. Its super beautiful in person. I just normally don't wear those shades but I may have to break that & get this palette its that gorgeous. I also want to get points & ebates. This was out at a far away crappy mall at Dillards. Haha! I'm after a pair of Tory Burch riding boots myself. I love the sorts of shades that are in the palette. The scanty swatches I've seen look nice as well A bit of shimmer but not bad at all. Its a very soft shade. I have the other lipstick already just not in the Velvet formula.
arg. I was worried it had shimmer. I'm going to need to see swatches of that. The eye pencil as well. i also must have the highlighter

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!
oh no i ws so looking forward to the blush but i think it might not show up all that well on me :( ugh i wish they released RG now!!
You're welcome dear. Its hard to say because sometimes these shades actually end up showing up better on darker/olive skin than what they do on fair skin. This Chanel dept. always gets product fast & they knew nothing about RG blush. BUMMER! I really really want it :)

I'm hoping the eye pencil is more platinum than gold on me, and will actually go on my waterline. I got the amber silver guerlain one, and it's a gorgeous platinum, but it WILL NOT go in my waterline

Those boots would be amazing! I love riding boots.

You will love the es palette. The shades are pigmented & unique I think. GORGEOUS! I bet I end up with it

HE WIPED THE SWATCHES?!?! Ok that is why I do all my shopping online LOL. That boggles my mind. What an offputting sales strategy. If you're not going to buy it, you can't even take the swatches home with you!

I wanted the eye pencil to be somewhere in between gold & silver which I thought it was going to be. For some reason, my skin turned it more gold. Its still pretty.

Yes! I do most of my shopping online as well. I went to dillards yesterday and got matched for new foundation, and it was awful. I dislike talking to sales people. You had to go in store for their foundation frenzy though.

I got to see everything today. All I bought was Caresse blush. The shades are so pretty in person. The highlighter is very silver based but gorgeous when blended out onto the skin. It was bit too whtie/silver for my liking but still gorgeous. The eyeshadow palette is GORGEOUS in person. It swatched extremely well. Very smooth & pigmented. The darkest shade is amazing. The eye pencil which I originally thought was going to be perfect, was a bit on the gold side on my skin. The lipsticks beautiful as always. The Envol shadow was pretty as well. It really sheered out with a lot of sparkle.

Caresse blush - VERY VERY frail light peach with a bit of pink to it. The shimmer is subtle. I had to use quite a bit for it to show up on me but still thought it was pretty.

Thank you Elegant for the great swatches (as always!)! I love this so much but I doubt it'll show up on my olive skin. Do you have Espiegle JC? If so how does it compare?

Is the RAV the same colour/tone as the old Flamboyante RA you have, or is it orange based?

You're welcome! Thanks

Flamboyante appears to be the same shade. I may get it too because I love velvets & I love this shade on me.

I do have Espiegle which I believe is much darker. I'll swatch them so we know for sure. I have to run first

Most of the time unless I'm really wanting something right away, I look in the store & then buy online. But I agree, I cannot take the SA any more

What new foundation did you get?

Winthrop usually has to remind me every single time - but is this the crappier texture blush? Why can I not remember this

Is it 6g (US powder formula) or 4g (Euro baked)? To be fair the more recent baked ones have been way better than the ones from years ago. I'm glad you liked the palette cause I ordered it from Bloomies yesterday and then chickened out today & tried to cancel but it was too late (even though it's not shipping till Tues).
lol.gif
I don't think I'm getting anything else.

I got diorskin nude, which I haven't tried, and chanel perfection lumiere velvet, which I wore today and love!!! Vita lumiere aqua is my favorite, but I think this one may edge it out.

I love ya - you're so funny! I think you'll really like it. It swatched beautifully. It goes from the typical pearly white highlight to a light soft pale muted violet, then a medium dusty blue violet to this gorgeous medium/deep charcoal with a complicated undertone of a slight plummy eggplant, then a yellow gold shade. I don't know of anything that comes close to it shade wise. I will probably buy it just for that deep eggplant charcoal shade I loved it so much.

Yes, its the 6g, Its not a bad texture, its just very very pale but I still really like it on.

I like the diorskin nude, but I love love the velvet way more. The finish on the velvet is beautiful. I love the new TF foundation equally as well.

Ok, I just swatched Espiegle & it almost looked the same in the pan, but its about 4-5 shades deeper darker & more on the coral/orange side. Caresse is a soft feminine straight up baby peach with just enough pink base to keep it from going orange.
