Some of the lipstick descriptions sound pretty but I don't own any lustres and I don't think I need to. I do like Satins though. Saw everyone getting excited for Toxic Tale so I googled it since I missed VV and it's beautiful! Totally want

I'm interested in toxic tale cuz its satin and I hate lustres. Interested in all the CSG thats an awesome formula. Red Alert eye shadow sounds awesome and its VP. Will have to check out the beauty powder as well.

Argh! I hate lustres and I can only tolerate certin satins. I'm an amp/matte girl when it comes to MAC lipsticks. Guess I'm skipping this go round. More monies for HEIRLOOM MIX! *happy dance*

LOL I really don't know! There's just something about that satin texture that irks me. It almost feels grainy to me, but not really. Makes no sense I know lol... The ONLY reason I like amplifieds is because the pigmentation on that thang is always SOLID imo. But they are slippery as hell to me. I'm good for applying way too many layers of lipstick and with amplifieds it always ends up on my teeth or feathering outside of my lips if I don't line. If amplifieds weren't so pigmented I would loathe them the way I loathe lustres. Because I am a bold, bright, BAM in your face lippie girl, I feel like lustres are a waste of lipstick lol...

Ha! The only lustres I have, I wear to work. And they're ALL nudes and nudey pinks smh... Subdued, neutral shades that won't cause a ruckus in a corporate environment. Now outside of work I'm wearing stuff like Hautecore and So Chaud like it's nothing lol. It's either some bright orange, a vampy purple, or something outrageous like black or green. I even have a mustard yellow-ish lip product lol! But at work, I keep it simple. I can't be sitting in a cubicle wearing OCC Belladonna, folks just wouldn't be able to handle it lol...

It is sooo funny to me how people can be such makeup snobs. I can see the problem with wearing either black or super loud colors but some of those shades you mentioned to me aren't cause for concern. LOL
