I really wish the palette would have had more of a wow factor. I picked it up at the store launch and it's just meh. Might just give it to my momma.
^^^ this.. its just ok to me.. I think I rather buy the mega pro and see what the anastasia eyeshadows look like next month...

I think if one doesn't have a slew of palettes or doesn't have any mac shadows this paltte is a heck of a bargain even at $85 bucks.

That's exactly why my mom without a doubt would love it.
Don't tempt me girl.
I think the mega pro would be a better choice, but even on that i might skip.
yeah ultimately.. I think I want to wait for the anastatsia ones.. I have LP 1 & 2

Some Swatches!

For me, the palette spells convenience. I love that the shades are neutral and complement each other so well. Working in a corporate environment, Neutrals are my go to for everyday. I personally love the palette!!

Just picked up Gospel. I've been wearing the darker veluxe palette for a few days along with the plum from the cheek duo with the rocky horror blush on top and I kept thinking I needed Gospel. I also tried on artful gloss and the orange gloss and I think I have to go back for them. Edit - I need to add that I've put Star Wonder MSF back into rotation and this adds to the look.

I went back and got the 2 glosses. I'm home now and just tried on Gospel lipstick. Oh wow! I love it. So glad I didn't skip it. It is more berry toned than I originally thought. Now to back up or not to back up????

I think it's a palette that is great for more mature eyes. It's exactly what I like - neutral with a kick of wearable (office friendly colour). No glitter, no BAM shades, etc. I could totally see this palette being too bland for those who are more drawn to the UD Vice 3 jewel shades or Sugarpill matte neons, but now that I'm in my late 40s it's absolutely perfect for me.
Great to know, too. I don't think one should wear just mattes at our age but I def have some issues and probably won't go crazy with all sorts of glittery things from now on. I have plenty of them if needed.
Not to mention I can't even get 4 normal e/s here for the 85 USD.

I agree. I wear a lot of deluxe pearl type shades; I like some shimmer but no longer find glitter or metallic shades flattering. I don't like all matte either; it looks flat to me.

Where is everyone still finding the pallete? I have been searching and searching for my sister and I can't locate one anywhere.
