HIghlighter can be really tricky to see the full effect. That is why I feel like they are blind buys sometimes, even when you swatch or try them in the store. You really need to look at them on your face in different kinds of lighting. Sometimes I'm at home and put on a new highlighter in my normal makeup applying place and it looks like nothing and then I'll go in the hall mirror or bathroom mirror and BAM! it is beautiful and I can't stop gazing at it. Give it a little more time and see if you can try different lighting. Also different brushes will account for differences. I love it and was nervous swatching would ruin the texture of the highlighter, kinda like how my Dentelle Precieuse did, but it held up great. Can't wait to start wearing them. I think I will tonight actually!

I thought I read this thread yesterday. Well maybe I did read it early yesterday morning. If I'd checked back in later I wouldn't have been so surprised to see the collection at Bloomingdale's. Well, I tried the highlighter on my hand and it looked too silvery at first but then I blended it out and it took on a golden tone so I figured I could wear it. I tried the eyeshadow palette too. Nice colors but did I need it? No but I have all the other quints and I knew I'd end up running around looking for it if I passed it up. Envol was a bit glittery but I love the peachy goodness. I tried Caress but it seemed a bit light on my hand. I swatched Jersey on my hand and it just disppeared on my skin. I think it may be too close to my skin tone. I will try them another time on my face. I know colors light this sometimes work better on the face than swatched. Volage looked prietty too but I didn't feel like trying it on the lips to be sure. Maybe next time. So I got:

need to befriend an SA who can get to know your likes & dislikes. They will set things aside for you and keep you apprised when the LTD edition items come in. That's
