MAC Smoky Black Friday Collection (Nov 21/28, 2014)

Who's the person that's buying the velux pearl fusion shadows? How can I ask them to stop so MAC will quit making them? They remind me of the Runway Eyes compacts from Milani and I hated those things.   Oh well... :fluffy:

i really like the pearlfusion veluxe shadows but i own white es and NEVER wear it and about every silver perm and le shadow mac has put out omg im good

The name of this collection held so much promise and intrigue! Now I feel pure disappointment ...... the helium is gone from my balloon of happiness.

this is me too oh well, money saved though i really would have loved hautecore since i skipped it last year too. boooo.

Boo. I'm not into those skinny VPF shadows. I was hoping for a set of single matte shadows in black and gray shades.

They remind me of old Maybelline quads with crappy e/s. I'd like to know who buys them, too (aside from Kristin).

I own only TWO MAC palettes, one x4 and one x6... and whaddaya know, i have Carbon

It's in the 6 palette (Spider Queen); i've used every color in it except Carbon.

I am fortunate that i have Grey Friday, i have Firm Form + a BU (one of my few), and i have Hautecore.

I can have my own little Black Friday celebration at home

I mean... If carbon was really a good black it'd be fine, but there are so many blacks that are better. UD blackout, Sugarpill bulletproof, Makeup Geek corrupt... Just to name a few...

Or even freaking Typographic. I'd be 100 million times more happy if they stopped using Carbon and switched over to Typographic instead.
