Going off of that description, yes. The champagne I see is probably the white balls. I see gold, pink, red, copper bronze (just a few), and beige/tan balls. Here's another picture under florescent lighting to capture all the tones.I'm not sure about the colors. I'm just going off of the descriptions but obviously there seems to be a lot of variation from tin to tin! Here's what Sephora says for the Holiday edition: The matte beige powders even out the complexion, the pearly white reflects light, gold illuminates, copper adds warmth to the complexion, and the pink offers a freshness in an iridescent red that revives dullness. Does yours have all those shades?
I hope they'll make a difference. I had to dig for them and that made me nervous about dropping my balls or crushing my balls---I was almost afraid to touch them. Did you check under your top layer?@Megdal07, I'm jealous you got 4 red balls! Lol!
Now THOSE look like the promo pic! Such a beautiful set of balls, hehehe.
Neither do I. I just can't do it.Well, the description was "New Condition". They're either new or they're not. That threw me.I don't do used makeup of any kind. That's not snobbery---I have a
sensitive immune system.
Yes I did. Definitely only 3. But I really do have a lot of pink and white/gold balls. I'm glad I don't have a ton of copper ones because that would have made it way too dark for me.I hope they'll make a difference. Wow, awesome photo!!
Oh, I just remembered! You can purchase the white balls from cosme-de.com. They also sell on ebay, but their actual website outside of ebay sometimes runs specials and sales. I get my Shu Uemura Asia only colors from them sometimes.Well, the description was "New Condition". They're either new or they're not. That threw me.I don't do used makeup of any kind. You know we're going to have to see pics of that. Can't wait to rub my holiday balls all over my face...
Just keep in mind it's fluorescent lighting, so everything is more intense and a little cooler than what it looks like in reality. They're really lovely. I think you'll enjoy them (and this is coming from someone who hates all things bronzer and warm--because I'm not only really fair, I'm quite green/yellow.)Wow, awesome photo!!So that's good to know that you got all the colors you were supposed to get. I still think Guerlain needs to be more consistent with their ball distribution, but I'll let it go now
Understood. I know it's really hard to capture true colors, especially in artificial lighting. I think I've seen enough to warrant giving it a go. My main concerns were that it would be too bronzey and/or too sparkly and I feel like those have both been refuted so...off to get my balls!Just keep in mind it's fluorescent lighting, so everything is more intense and a little cooler than what it looks like in reality. BTW Ella, T ordered a new set of balls because she feared that the crushed balls that Guerlain sent to her gave a false bronzy appearance.Understood. Now that's what I expected them to look like. I might have to add them to my Christmas wish list.Going off of that description, yes. The champagne I see is probably the white balls.
