In my life only the conservative people view the color as "whoreish". I love red lipstick but for some reason people say it is a whoreish colour, I've had people complaining about it and I have had others praising me for being "brave" enough to wear it, for me red is one of the easiest colours to pull off and it's a colour I'm most comfortable with. I did have an issue at one point when I was wearing candy yum yum where people was laughing and saying that I can't be taken seriously with cyy on, I just said its my face I can put what I want on it, plus lets be honest I've brightened up your dreary day with this lipstick.

I think it would look great on you. It's very bold, but it's a nice shade on a lot of skin tones.
