Hi, ladies! I know most are looking for F&F codes, but I played the match game and got a 10% off that I'm not going to use. I'd happily give it to someone who would appreciate it more. Let me know if you'd like it and I'll PM it to you! :bouquet:

I'm totally impressed! I thought I went a little nuts with it, but I see you took it even more seriously than I did. I almost got the L'Occitane set, but I resisted. I'll be curious to hear what you think of it!

Bite Lip Crayons in Aubergine and Truffle are beautiful! You'll love them! Haven't tried Brandy myself.

NARS Anna lipstick is also stunning!

Great haul, enjoy! :)

K does anyone know if the Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Bomblicious Dry Body Oil is like an oil perfume? It's a lot cheaper than the perfume itself and it's still a full 3.4 oz, and I was hoping it would wear as long as the normal perfume. Any thoughts?
It smells like perfume but you don't use it as a perfume. it is moisturizing body oil

I have a 10% off code I'm not going to use. I'd like to pay it forward. I believe the code can only be used once. Please PM me if interested!

Teehee. I've been planning for a couple months, and wanted a big haul to treat myself. I got the 5 piece loccitane set last year, and loved it. this one is a better value, and now that I know I love them, it was an easy decision

It's so fun seeing what everyone is getting during F&F!! I've been living vicariously through my fellow specktrettes since I was on a self-imposed no-buy for 6 months. All I got during that time were the everyday essentials when I ran out, and I caved when the new Bite Beauty lip crayons came out (I bought half of them...oops). So now with all the sales going on over the next couple of months, I'm afraid I might binge more than I should! I currently have almost $300 worth of stuff in my Sephora cart just waiting to be purchased during the VIB sale next month. A couple of those things have gone out of stock since I put them in my cart, but maybe they'll be restocked soon...though it might be better for my wallet if they're not.

I already spent a little over 200 on makeup from other sales this month, so I might have to cut down the Sephora list a bit...

This turned into more of a ramble than I expected and probably should've gone in the low-buy thread now that I'm reading it over, lol. Time for more coffee to help me re-focus? I think so!

I wish I could wear NARS foundation, but none of the colors match me. They're either too light or too dark and I'm not here for buying two foundations to mix together.

Good Morning ladies! It's so fun to see what everyone is picking up in the F&F sale. I have adding and removing things from my cart since yesterday, and am still undecided! I need to make some decisions before the "non-essential" stuff I want sells out. Anyone with any thoughts/reviews on the hourglass blush palette/Tarte blush palette/Benefit blush palette? I am limiting myself to one, and I'm leaning towards the hourglass but have heard mixed reviews. I am pretty fair skinned though, so I think the pigmentation wouldn't be a problem for me. On a side note: Does anyone have any experience with the swap/sell thread here on Specktra? I know there are you must meet certain requirements before you can join, but I am seriously considering selling some unused, like-new makeup when the forum becomes available to me.

Honestly, I'd go for the Hourglass palette if it was my decision. I skipped on it and the other palettes because I'd bought too much already, but the Tarte palette was too shimmery for my liking and I've never been a big fan of Benefit for the same reason. I like matte/satin blushes. I don't mind the luminous look that Hourglass gives, but I don't like shimmer in my blushes. That's an oily skin, enlarged pore girl problem though, lol.

I've had a lot of experience with the swap/sell threads on here. I've done one swap and it was great and I've purchased many things. I only ever had one problem but at the time, I wasn't a Moderator and informed one. Funny thing is, over a year later I finally heard back from the girl and she refunded me. She'd just done a disappearing act. Was very odd!

I tend to lean towards matte/satin blushes too because I have oily skin and enlarged pores, so I have always steered clear of shimmer and highlight, which is why I was hemming and hawing over the Hourglass palette.

Thanks for the advice on the Swap/Sell forum. I figured if you had to be a member for 30 days and have at least 50 posts, it was probably a pretty well-maintained and regulated.

Then I'd definitely suggest the Hourglass palette. I only have one blush from Benefit because I honestly find the sparkle in them too much for me and the Tarte palette had quite a lot of shimmer this year. I have one Hourglass blush and it is absolutely beautiful and if you're pale, the light colours will still show up no problem.

It's definitely a well maintained forum!
